The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Friday, May 10 – Jordan Agrees To Do Victor’s Dirty Work

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, May 10, reveals that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will think Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants her to do his dirty work. Since Jordan already has blood on her hands, she certainly won’t mind getting a little more on them.

Jordan will want a hint about what Victor’s cooking up, but he’ll suggest he’s still considering his options. If Victor decides to go ahead with his project, it’ll be revealed at the time of his choosing.

Although Jordan will push for food, Victor will give her another bottle of vodka instead and admit she makes it easy to be cruel to her.

In the park, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will join Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Summer will be polite in front of Harrison, but her disdain for Claire and disapproval of Kyle’s actions will shine through.

Phyllis will introduce herself to Claire as Harrison’s very protective grandmother, so Claire will insist it’s great that Harrison has so many people who love him.

Although Harrison will want to show Claire the playground, Summer will think they need to get him home for lunch.

Harrison will ask if Claire can come, but Claire will bow out and leave along with Victoria.

Once Phyllis steps away with Harrison, Summer will rip into Kyle for going against the one thing she asked for.

Kyle will protest since it was a chance encounter and act like it would’ve been confusing if he’d pulled Harrison away from Claire.

However, Summer will argue that all Kyle had to do was let Harrison say hi and move on.

Summer will insist this is about her own trauma as well since the sight of Claire takes her right back to all the kidnapping.

In the end, Summer will insist on going home with Kyle and Harrison for lunch – just in case Claire makes another surprise appearance.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will wonder what he can say or do to stop Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) from leaving.

Diane will complain about Jack’s attempts to justify his actions and will feel like he put Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) above all else. After Diane pushes Jack to attend a 12-step meeting, he’ll agree.

As Diane heads off to work, Jack will urge her to reassure him they’re in a better place than when they started this conversation, but she’ll still need time.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will corner Diane to complain about Kyle, who let Harrison hang around wildcard Claire against Summer’s wishes.

Diane will act like Phyllis is overreacting and will note they’ve both been considered psychos in Genoa City, so it’s not their place to point fingers.

After Phyllis brings up Kyle wanting Claire to be Harrison’s nanny, Diane will be skeptical that he’d go for that idea.

Although Phyllis will want to intervene as Harrison’s grandmas and maybe get Jack involved, Diane will shut her down and storm off. It’ll leave Phyllis feeling like there’s more going on with Diane.

Back at the Abbott mansion, Kyle will see that Jack’s pensive, so he’ll express concern for his dad’s relationship with Diane since she’s been livid.

Jack will mention that Diane alluded to some other trouble earlier, so he’ll wonder if Kyle’s the source of it.

Kyle will explain that he tries to fix Diane’s mistakes at the office, but his mom doesn’t see that he’s trying to help her.

Jack will defend Diane’s work as exemplary and question whether Kyle still resents the fact that she got the co-CEO job over him.

At the Newman ranch on Friday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will complain to Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) about the Summer situation and offer updates on their park run-in.

Once Victor arrives, Victoria will mention how Claire would be perfect as Harrison’s nanny and will urge Victor to speak with Summer.

Victor will refuse since he won’t want Claire anywhere near the toxicity of the Abbott household.

Furthermore, Victor will think Claire needs to be at Newman Enterprises and will suggest she could be Victoria’s assistant once she returns to work there.

Victoria will insist she’s not sure she’s even going to come back – at least not anytime soon.

Despite Victor’s grumbling, Victoria will stand by her decision to make Claire a priority right now.

Victoria will grill Victor about whether he’s planning some sort of retaliation against Jack, but Victor will claim he isn’t and act like he just wants to protect Claire like all the other Newmans.

Once Victoria is alone with Cole, she’ll admit she thinks Victor really is planning something and that he doesn’t want them anywhere near the Abbotts when it happens.
