On tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, eleven of the world’s best acts performed Live! There was no room for mistakes or do-overs. Simon was also holding the buzzer tonight. He was known as the harshest critic for a reason and so everything had to be perfect. Jacqueline & Wagner were up first. They were an Aerial Duo. They also threw in acrobatics along with some rollerblading. She did most of the talking before the previous performance. Simon even joked that it looked like Jessica Rabbitt abducted her husband and told him what they’re going to be doing from now on. And it wasn’t just because of Jacqueline’s flaming red hair that made him think that.

The two put on a stellar performance tonight. Most felt they’ve upped things since auditions. Simon just had to be the jerk that disagreed. He felt he could’ve seen more and everyone thought he was crazy. What more could expect when Wagner has his wife spinning through the air by her ponytail? It was dangerous, it was sexy, and it should not be repeated at home by enthusiastic fans. It was there for professionals only. People who have dedicated their whole lives to the craft. The aerialists were followed by Austin Brown.

Austin is a singer. He was a Country artist. He came the first time and auditioned. It wasn’t good. He came back for a second audition. He made it through thanks to that second performance. He was back a third time for his first live show hoping to wow the audience again with an original song. It was very upbeat. It was called “You Can Be My Whiskey, You Can Be My Trip”. It sounded like something that would be playing on the radio and Mel Be quite enjoyed it. She didn’t always understand what he was saying. She only knew she liked it.

It was the language barrier, y’all. His country against her British was bound to have the occasional error message. Maybe that’s why Simon had nothing good to say. He kept mentioning what Ausitn could have done better to make the song work. Like taking off the hat. The same goes for the jacket. Simon mentioned the song should have been slowed down as well. He had no compliments on what went right. He wasn’t a silver lining kind of guy. Nor was he going to pretend to be one. Next up was Maceo Harrison.

Maceo was more unique in that rarely has anyone made it this far as a solo dance artist. He was born to dance and solo didn’t scare him. He took up the whole stage with his performance. He also used the full studio to dance on top of that. He gives one of kind performances. He really does! He danced to “Chandelier” tonight. He literally swung from a chandelier to match the song. He just had fun out there. He got up and made everyone dance with him. He managed to dance his way back to the stage and he made everyone so happy that even Simon was rooting for him.

Simon had been in a terrible mood mere moments before. Maceo helped change that with his performance. He was followed by the Benn Family Band. They were singers. They performed in honor of their late patriarch to the song, “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz. They moved everyone with that performance. It was such a tender moment that audience didn’t want it ruined. They instead made the family feel their love. And it wasn’t just the people in the audience, even the support crew thanked them for their kind message.

Now, the next act was for those who loved “Magic Mike” film series. The Messoudi Brothers used to be trio. Then one dropped out to pursue something safer. The remaining two decided to change up their act by stripping as well as juggling knives and they managed not to hurt themselves as they took their clothes both off and on. They went up on a platform tonight. They added fire as well. Mel naturally loved it. Simon surprisingly enjoyed it as well. Maceo really did change him for the better

The brothers were followed by Micah Palace. He was DJ/rapper. He doesn’t seem to own standing equipment and so he had a keyboard up on his mother’s ironing board. He did that the last time. It brought him luck then. It brought him luck again tonight. He brought an Argentine flair. He had Howie on his feet and the crowd waving Argentinian flags. He made everyone feel the joy. Simon was proud of him too. He didn’t give a standing ovation, but he gave him something much better. He gave him the Golden Buzzer. It was the second confetti fell for Micah’s performance that night.

Next up was an AI Magician known only as Mastermind. He was a little weird. Not as weird as the creepy clown magician. He was more weird in that you never hear his real voice. It was completely AI Generated. He might not even be a he for all anyone knows. Its what everyone has been referring to as Mastermind. Mastermind also loved a good shock value because he took out his phone to scare the audience. Everyone was so confused by what happened. It was either very witty or a little cerebral for everyone to get. It didn’t really feel like magic.

Mastermind was followed by Girish & the Chronicles. They were a rock band from India. Their rock interpretation on Pop music wowed everyone during their audition and tonight they came back with Sia’s “Unstoppable”. Sia was notoriously hard to cover. Yet, they pulled it off. Howie loved it. He loved this band just as much as the audience did. Simon enjoyed it because he said this band could fit into any era. He also called on the will of the crowd and Girish & the Chronicles won over everyone they needed to.

They were followed by Anna Saranina. She was another comeback kid! She first came on the show back in 2018 with her then husband and now she was back as a solo artist. She got divorced. Became a single mom. She was now showing her daughter the strength of a women’s team. She was a Danger act. She’s a crossbow shooter who wasn’t afraid to shoot blind and that was literally sometimes because she wore masks that completely covered her eyes. It also blocked all light. What she did what very dangerous. It also didn’t impress Simon fully. He felt it was lagging in certain parts.

Simon gave a terrible analogy about it. He wasn’t helping Anna to get better and so Howie took over the conversation. Howie gave her tips on what would make it better. Simple things like preloading the crossbows as well as talking to the audience. It was still pretty good. It just needs a few adjustments to give Anna the time she deserves. Next up was Chris Turner. He was a freestyle rapper. He creates raps on the spot after the judges and the audience gives him clues to add and somehow he makes it work.

Pretty much every act went onstage knowing what they were going to do before they did it. Just not Chris. Chris was a charming British guy who’d you never suspect raps. Everyone loves him. He also managed to bring together every bit of the suggestions. They gave him a standing ovation. Sofia was the alone in remaining seated. She was however super excited for the final performer of the night – Jessica Sanchez. Jessica was on the very first season of the show and she was back for another try at the title.

Jessica is a singer. She nervous kid before. She was now an adult and she was expecting her first baby. She performed “Ordinary” by Alex Warren. She was perfection. She has such an amazing voice. Hopefully, she doesn’t get into labor anytime soon because everyone wants to hear more from her.

THE END!
