Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, September 23, hint that Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will figure out Derek Baldwin’s (Ben Gavin) secret, while Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will concoct a plan to target Doug McBride (Jason Graham).
Doug made a super stupid move by going to Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) and asking for his help to bring down the casino owner.
Little did Doug know how tight Bill and Joey are and their history. Bill ended up ratting out Doug to Joey (almost immediately), and now Doug’s days in Fairmont Crest may be numbered.
During the September 23 show, the casino owner will meet with Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) to come up with a plan to get rid of his Doug problem.
Marcel took care of Kenny (Jason Vendryes) when he was stalking Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and his family. Will Doug be “taken care of” the same way?
Speaking of Martin, he’ll try to help Samantha Richards (Najah Jackson) with something, but end up pissing his husband, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), off.
Could this be about Samantha wanting to communicate with her bio mom, June (Jasmine Burke)?
Martin spent some time with June during the Monday, September 22 show, so perhaps Smitty may feel as if Martin is getting too close to their children’s baby momma, too fast.
In other news, a couple will face the fact that things between them will never be the same.
Is this about Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) getting hitched in Vegas?
They were both drunk when an “Anita Dupree” drag queen (played by Tamara Tunie) married them on the September 22 episode, so will the marriage be legal?
Lastly, Jacob will figure out something Derek has been hiding. Is this about the fact that he is making progress with his condition and can feel his legs?
Then again, there’s nothing BTG spoilers love to do more than swerve fans, so perhaps it’s about his pending nuptials to Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).
Derek may not tell his best friend that he’s getting married right away, perhaps wanting to wait for Ashley to be around to tell him as a couple.
Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that Derek and Ashley might be engaged now, but once she finds out he’s been lying to her, it’ll be game over.
Now that Andre is hitched to Dani, Ashley may find out about Derek’s manipulation, sooner rather than later, which will leave the freelance photographer more conflicted than ever!
