General Hospital Monday, August 25 Recap: Maxie Exits for Boston Coma Care – Jason’s Burner Phone for Britt

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, August 25, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) exited for some coma care in Boston while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had a burner phone and a promise for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) scrambled to explain the Ava Jerome (Maura West) situation to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and insisted he was doing this for her.

Cody noted that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) paid him to come between Ava and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), so Ava planned to deal with Cody later and stormed out.

Molly wasn’t impressed with Cody’s explanation and stomped off as well.

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Kristina admitted to Ric that she knew about the blackmail, so they had a huge fight about the cut brakes, the car crash and the pressure Alexis had been under.

Ric insisted Kristina belonged in prison, but Kristina fired back at him for always causing trouble in her relationship with Molly.

Kristina picked up a letter opener and seemed like she might use it on Ric, but she ultimately put it back on the table.

Once Ava came barging in, she ratted Kristina out for playing her along with Ric and trying to pit them against each other.

Ric eventually announced that the blackmail was over and shocked Ava with the news that he’d cleaned out all the accounts, including her secret one.

Ric also said he’d bought $10 million in treasury bonds, so he’d have laundered money in a month and Ava would be left with nothing.

Ava grabbed a bauble off the table in a fit of rage and whacked Ric with it, so he collapsed with a gash on the back of his head.

Kristina looked stunned over what Ava had just done.

At the Metro Court Grill, Alexis met with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and was furious when someone served her with a restraining order.

Drew warned that Alexis couldn’t get within 500 feet of Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

Alexis also learned that restraining orders were being served to Molly, Kristina, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and even Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Drew made it clear that Scout wouldn’t be able to see Alexis until she was 18 – if she even recalled who Alexis was by then.

Alexis countered that she’d make it like Drew never existed and that when Scout asked about him, she’d lie and say he was a good man.

Alexis warned that Drew wouldn’t be around to prove her wrong, so Molly seemed concerned once she entered and found her mom dishing out threats.

Nearby, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) gave Laura Collins (Genie Francis) updates on all the Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) drama and how he’d made an enemy of Drew.

Laura and Martin witnessed Alexis threatening Drew nearby, but they chuckled over pretending they didn’t hear a thing.

At the hospital, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) told Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) that Maxie had slipped into a coma, so GH wasn’t the best place for her anymore.

Since Lucas used to work at Mass General in Boston, he knew they were on the cutting edge of coma care.

Lucas was confident that Mass General could handle Maxie’s condition far better than they could at GH.

Spinelli shared a sweet moment with Maxie and urged her to come home to him along with the kids.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), Cody, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and James West (Gary James Fuller) all came to say their goodbyes, too.

James handed over Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) badge, which Maxie gave him after he broke his arm.

Now James wanted Maxie to have it while she recovered, so Lucas vowed to watch over it before Maxie was wheeled into the elevator for transport.

At the Five Poppies Resort, Britt wondered why Jason was still there, but he didn’t have what he came for yet.

Britt called Jason out for his date with the “Euro trash” and pretended she didn’t know Greta’s (Cecily Elliott) name.

Jason insisted they were just fishing for information from each other.

Although Jason offered to take Britt anywhere she wanted, she got weepy over him reminding her of home and once again pushed him to leave.

Britt and Jason seemed dangerously close to kissing, but they stopped short of a lip lock.

Jason finally agreed to go on the condition that Britt took a burner phone and contacted him if she ever needed help.

After Jason assured Britt that he’d show up if she called, she snapped that he’d better not tell Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and headed out the door.

General Hospital spoilers say Britt’s storyline has plenty more twists and turns ahead, so stay tuned.
