General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, September 22, reveals that “John Doe’s” fingerprints matched Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) claimed Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was her son.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) slammed the door on Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) when she showed up to discuss Deception.
Lucy refused to leave, so Tracy finally let her in and announced that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) died.
Despite Lucy’s messy history with Monica, she reminisced with Tracy and said plenty of complimentary things.
Once Lucy exited, Tracy finally let her grief pour out as she cried on the staircase.
Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gave Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) updates on Monica’s passing as well, so they gave their son some support.
In the Quartermaine stables, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) interrupted Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) kiss with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and made things awkward.
Brook Lynn was there to see Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who appeared and explained the Outback situation.
While Gio, Emma and Cody were all in one place, Brook Lynn gave them the news that Monica passed away.
Talk eventually turned to Outback again, so Brook Lynn suggested changing the rules and making the Quartermaine estate the dog’s new home since Rocco was there half the time.
Over with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), she opened up to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about having feelings for Cody despite his role in Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) Ava Jerome (Maura West) seduction scheme.
Although Molly had some anxiety about risking her heart, Alexis gave her a nudge in Cody’s direction.
At Bobbie’s, Britt walked in, so Rocco nervously stood up for an exchange.
Things were a bit uncomfortable, but Rocco was pleased to meet Britt and got a warm smile from her as they talked.
Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) was polite to Britt as well before excusing herself to wait for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) outside.
Once Britt talked about seeing Rocco on Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) social media page, he invited Britt to send him a follow request.
Britt was also willing to answer whatever questions Rocco had, but he opted to save that conversation for another time.
Outside the restaurant, Charlotte gave Lulu a heads-up on Britt being in there with Rocco.
After Rocco joined Lulu and Charlotte, he acknowledged that meeting Britt went fine – though he was ready to head home since that was a lot to process.
Back with Britt, she found a small box with a bow on it waiting for her in the room above Bobbie’s.
Once Britt looked inside, she was unsettled over the contents.
When Lulu showed up at the door, Britt hid her meds and opened up.
Lulu was there to make peace for Rocco’s sake and set some guidelines, but Britt launched a heated confrontation instead and called Rocco her son.
Lulu realized Britt was a psycho who couldn’t be reasoned with, but Britt gloated about all the stories she’d tell Rocco from when he was a baby.
Britt felt that Lulu was threatened by her because she was just as much Rocco’s mother as Lulu was – maybe even more.
Lulu threw words like “test tube” and “incubator” around before warning Britt to steer clear of Rocco.
Britt snapped about Rocco’s name being Ben as Lulu stormed out, so the tension between them was obviously even worse than before.
Once Britt was alone, she put her attention back on the gift from earlier.
Britt looked at all the drug doses she’d been given along with a note that said don’t forget to take her medicine.
At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed how the man who looked like Nathan had no identification on him.
After Dante and Anna debated whether this could really be Nathan, Anna was adamant about keeping things quiet until they knew more.
Anna wanted this patient admitted as a John Doe while they waited on fingerprints and DNA results.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) had a similar mindset as he talked to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about focusing on this man as a patient who needed their help.
Nathan had a CT scan, but Lucas couldn’t say for sure when he’d wake up.
Anna ultimately got confirmation that this man’s fingerprints were a match for the ones on file for Nathan.
“According to the PCPD database, the man lying in that bed…it’s Nathan West,” Anna told Dante and Lucas.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna will keep investigating and hope to get more Nathan info, so don’t miss all the exciting discoveries to come.
