General Hospital’s (GH) weekly preview video for December 15-19 reveals that Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial will start, while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) takes the stand to defend his wife, and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) makes an explosive return.
GH has released its weekly preview video, and fans need to brace for some major drama up ahead – so let’s unpack everything that’s about to go down in the land of Port Charles.
The General Hospital promo for the week of December 15 opens with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the Quartermaine kitchen with Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins Bruening).
Both are in business-like attire, as Lulu states, “I don’t want to jinx it, but maybe things are looking up.”
As the two are dressed the way they are, perhaps Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) trial for breaking into Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab takes place this week.
Initially, things looked bad for the young teen, but as Dalton has been MIA, and most of the evidence points to the idea that Rocco was set up, there’s a good chance he’ll get exonerated.
Still, fans know that Dalton isn’t hiding; rather, he’s long passed, thanks to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who is trying to frame Rocco’s grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Perhaps Lulu’s statement is foreshadowing more drama for her family, specifically her mom and son, with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the mix.
As the preview progresses, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is shown in her hospital bed, trying to relax and recover from her miscarriage scare.
The hospital’s co-Chief of Staff needs to focus on her and the baby’s well-being, but that may be hard considering who’s at her door.
In the promo, Brad can be heard saying, “Knock knock,” as he walks through and flashes a terrifying smile.
The camera pans to Portia, who looks ticked off and stressed. This is not good news for her or her current circumstances.
As scenes shift within the General Hospital weekly video, a clip of Willow is shown walking into the courtroom, looking serious, as Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) menacing face is revealed staring back at her.
From the sounds of it, Rocco won’t be the only one facing a judge this week, as Willow’s trial will also launch.
As the preview video wraps up, there’s a clip of everyone in the courtroom for Willow’s trial, standing up as the judge arrives.
Willow can be seen with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on one side, along with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) on the other.
Drew is behind Willow, with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sitting on the bench behind her daughter (but far from Drew). Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is also on the benches, some rows behind.
Meanwhile, Michael, his mom Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and his Aunt Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) are on ADA Turner’s side, with Dante in the background.
The final clip is of Drew on the stand as ADA Turner says, “Congressman Cain, do you know who shot you?”
Drew looks pretty confident as he’s about to speak, when a scene of Alexis and Willow’s shocked faces is shown.
