General Hospital Spoilers: Martin’s Cell Phone Recording Controls Tracy & Michael’s Fate?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) may have just made a cell phone recording. Does Martin now have proof that could control Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) fate?

In GH’s December 16 episode, Tracy demanded the family heirlooms back and ordered Martin to convince Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

If Tracy doesn’t get what she wants, she’s threatened to make sure Martin lands in prison for the will fraud fiasco.

Martin called Drew and warned him that they didn’t need Tracy making a public mess during the trial.

Drew stood his ground anyway and hinted that he needed Martin to do something for him while he was at the Quartermaine estate.

The show didn’t reveal what Drew asked of Martin, but it seemed like a way to set up the spy games that followed.

Someone watched and listened in on Tracy’s discussion with Michael, which led to her confirming she saw Michael outside Drew’s house that night right before she found Drew injured inside.

Since we know Martin was hanging around the property to do whatever Drew asked, it may ultimately be revealed that he was the one who hit the eavesdropping jackpot.

If Martin was indeed the eavesdropper, did he record that conversation?

Since Martin was close enough to overhear, then his phone could’ve recorded all that incriminating information as well.

Martin literally just had his phone in his hand, so it would’ve been easy for him to hit a couple buttons and start recording.

It would make sense for Martin to do that the moment he realized he was about to score something scandalous!

Without evidence of what Martin potentially just overheard, it could be argued that he’s lying to make trouble for Tracy and back up Drew’s story.

Martin needs real proof and may have it if there’s now a cell phone recording.

Of course, there are a couple of ways Martin could use this recording to his advantage.

It’s possible Martin could blackmail Tracy and Michael with it, especially since he needs a way to ensure he doesn’t land behind bars for fraud charges.

Martin might warn Tracy that unless she backs off, he’ll sink her along with Michael.

If Martin waits until Tracy and Michael have perjured themselves on the stand, his evidence will matter even more.

On the other hand, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hinted about Martin getting creative to convince Drew to give back those heirlooms.

Martin could trade the recorded evidence to get Drew to cooperate, but there would still be risks involved.

Even if Martin tries to keep his hands clean, Tracy is smart enough to realize Martin was just on the property and was likely the source of this leak.

That means Tracy could still go after Martin for the will fraud if all this blows up.

However, Martin seems to genuinely care about Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and may now suspect Michael is truly guilty.

It’s still possible Martin could hand over the potential recording to Drew, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) or even the cops in the end.

Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say this eavesdropper shocker will lead to problems for Tracy and Michael, so stay tuned for updates on all the terrible news to come.
