General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, October 23, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) wanted to pay Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) to fall in love with him while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) took the first step in offering Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak) an alliance.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Ronnie was delighted to meet Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), so she served him some cinnamon rolls as he talked about both Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Cody also tried to explain Drew’s falling out with the Quartermaine clan, so the topic of Drew having Tracy arrested for drugging him came up.
Ronnie was stunned over Tracy drugging Drew too, but Cody insisted Tracy was innocent of the ketamine drama.
After Cody defended Tracy as someone who looked out for her family, he offered to take the box that the movers left behind to Tracy at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn bickered with Tracy, who continued to deny drugging Ronnie and acted betrayed over BLQ siding with someone she’d known for an hour and a half!
Cody stopped by after Brook Lynn left with the box delivery and also tried to get Tracy to rethink her view of Ronnie.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) took all the blame when it came to betraying Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Lois was concerned over Gio walking away from music and school, but he needed time to figure things out.
After Lois defended Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn, she hoped Gio might be willing to bring down the walls he’d been putting up.
Gio acknowledged that he knew Lois had been trying to do the right thing when it came to the adoption.
Since Lois admitted she hadn’t patched things up with Brook Lynn yet, Gio was hopeful that maybe they could get there eventually.
Once Gio left, Lois called Brook Lynn and summoned her to Sonny’s house.
In the steam room, Michael urged Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to see that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could’ve indeed scored access to the gun at the Quartermaine mansion since she’d managed to sneak in before.
Michael gave Chase updates on his belief that Willow was the one who stalked Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Beimford), but Chase refused to believe Willow was responsible for that or Drew’s shooting.
At Bobbie’s, Drew gave Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) the news about his deal with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and explained that everyone but Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) would be allowed to see Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).
Martin was prepared to move forward with lifting the other restraining orders, but Drew said to keep them in place as leverage – though he didn’t plan to enforce them now that Alexis had agreed to represent Willow.
After Martin mentioned Monica’s outsider sister scoring the Quartermaine mansion in the will, the wheels started turning for Drew.
It wasn’t long until Drew made his way to the Q mansion door, where Ronnie opened up and asked how she could help him. Drew thought the real question was: How could he help Ronnie?
Outside the restaurant, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) quizzed Jacinda, who assured her that nothing serious was going on when it came to her connection to Michael.
Jacinda also praised Kristina for being a protective sister and suggested she’d be the same way if she were in Kristina’s position.
Kristina took Jacinda inside to buy her some coffee, so they had a tense encounter with Drew.
After Kristina lashed out, Drew warned her not to make waves and hinted about the deal he reached with Alexis.
Drew also clashed with Jacinda over Michael’s alibi and the drugging incident before threatening to send the police after her.
Jacinda later met with Michael and filled him in on that Drew run-in.
Michael acted like there was nothing to worry about, but Jacinda was concerned and sought his help to disappear again.
Michael advised against that strategy since it could make Jacinda look guilty and create problems for them both.
Instead, Michael wanted to make their shared alibi more believable by paying Jacinda to fall in love with him.
At Pentonville, Alexis showed up and explained the deal she struck with Drew to become Willow’s attorney.
Willow was on board and told Alexis that Michael was framing her for the shooting.
Although Willow was hopeful about Drew remembering what actually happened, Alexis suggested it wouldn’t matter since it’d look like he was making up a story so she’d walk free.
After Alexis wrapped up their first meeting, Chase arrived to see Willow next and got her grateful embrace.
Chase planned to keep investigating and clear Willow’s name since he felt this whole situation was an injustice.
Back with Alexis on Thursday’s GH episode, she met up with Kristina and admitted she was now representing Willow.
