General Hospital Wednesday, August 27 Recap: Nina Vows Drew’s Dead If He Hurts Willow – Ric Stuck for 30 Days

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, August 27, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) vowed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was dead if he hurt Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) again. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) also learned he was stuck for 30 days, so here’s how all the action played out.

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) confronted Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and revealed she knew about her sister paying Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to seduce Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) interrupted with questions for Molly about ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) jurisdiction, but Kristina seemed eager to get rid of him.

In the basement where Ric was being held, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) appeared and refused to grant his freedom.

It slowly dawned on Ric that Alexis was in on this captivity plot.

Alexis explained that Ric would be held there until the treasury bonds matured in 30 days.

After the money was replaced and Ava Jerome (Maura West) surrendered the proof against Kristina, Ric could walk free.

However, Alexis assumed Ric wouldn’t go to the police since they all had dirt on one another.

Once Kristina texted Alexis, she put the gag back in Ric’s mouth and left him there.

After Sonny got updates on Drew’s restraining order drama, he assured Alexis that Drew would eventually get what he deserved.

Back with Kristina, she paid Ric a visit and taunted him over his predicament.

At GH, Ava convinced Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to prescribe some sleeping pills to tide her over until her next doctor’s appointment, but those pills were seemingly intended for Ric.

Lucas also heard about Ava and Ric calling it quits, so he gave Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that news later.

In Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) talked to her about Drew launching the medical insurance fraud investigation against Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).

Meanwhile, Stella spoke to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and tried to stay optimistic about putting this whole ordeal behind her.

However, the fraud agents showed up to announce that Stella was suspended and under arrest, so that led to some chaos.

Curtis couldn’t get in touch with Alexis, but Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) did her best to help in the meantime.

Portia witnessed a close moment between Jordan and Curtis, which she clearly wasn’t pleased about.

Stella was ultimately taken to the police station in handcuffs. Curtis was finally able to get in touch with Alexis and let her know Stella had been arrested.

At the Port Charles Grill, Nina caught Willow sitting down for a meeting with Drew and flew into a rage.

Nina thought it was bad idea to be seen in public with Drew and warned Willow she could lose her children permanently.

Although Willow needed someone with power backing her up, Nina argued that all Drew’s other plans fell through.

Willow once again blamed Nina for her problems and pointed out that Drew said she stopped him from confessing their passionate encounters.

In the end, Willow felt that Drew was her best chance of going up against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

That’s why Willow vowed to come back to Drew if he reunited her with her kids – but only if he kept his promise.

Willow marched out the door and left Nina to blast Drew for filling her head with more lies.

At the church, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) was there to light a candle for his adoptive mom’s birthday and ran into Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), who was also there to light a candle for Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue).

After introducing themselves, Gio assured Marco that Grandpa Sonny had nothing to do with Natalia’s demise.

Once Marco was gone, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showed up with flowers and planned to light a candle for Camilla Palmieri, too.

Although Brook Lynn offered to leave and come back later, Gio insisted today was about his mom and urged her to stay.

That led to Brook Lynn and Gio having a conversation that seemed like a real breakthrough.

Brook Lynn got emotional over Camilla giving Gio the good home she prayed for, so Gio seemed moved over her tears.

At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) showed Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) evidence of Deception’s plummeting stock, but he offered to invest more for a bigger stake in the company.

Lucy wondered what was in it for Sidwell since Deception was tanking, but he played it like he was doing this for her instead of his mysterious associate.

Sidwell also had a private discussion with Marco, who was agitated after listening to Gio defend Sonny.

Marco pushed Sidwell to use his judge bribery leverage right away, but Sidwell needed his son to be patient a little longer.

At the Port Charles Grill again, Marco arrived and eavesdropped as Nina threatened Drew.

“I swear if you hurt my daughter again, I’ll see you dead,” Nina warned.

Drew suggested he should have Nina arrested over the threat, but she declared that the most dangerous person is someone who has nothing left to lose.

Marco approached Drew after Nina left and said he couldn’t help overhearing.

Since it sounded like Drew had a huge problem on his hands, Marco said it was lucky for Drew that he had the solution!

General Hospital spoilers say Marco’s betrayal will enrage Sidwell soon enough, so don’t miss all the conflict.
