General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 24, reveals that fans will see Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) worst nightmare while Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) pulls the trigger on his Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) plan.
At GH, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will propose a truce, especially since it’s Christmas Eve.
Britt should get on board with Lucas’ pitch while Brennan plots his next Britt-related move.
Over the phone, Brennan will ask someone if they’re “ready to pull the trigger on Britt Westbourne.”
Of course, Brennan won’t mean literally firing at Britt, but he’ll indeed have a plan to handle her.
The question is: Will that plan involve surrendering to Britt’s medical license demand or putting more pressure on her – or both?
Either way, Brennan won’t rest until he locks in Britt’s WSB cooperation.
At Carly’s house, her worst nightmare will come true when a curious Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) goes snooping.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be sprucing up the attic with some Christmas décor when Donna turns the doorknob and comes around the corner.
Although Valentin may think fast and come up with a kid-friendly story, this obviously isn’t the ideal situation.
Valentin might convince Donna that he’s part of Santa’s crew, but she’ll still have plenty of questions.
Carly will take a huge risk on Wednesday’s show, so she may get the news of Donna’s discovery and persuade her daughter to keep quiet.
Donna is quite the chatterbox, so trusting her to hide secrets could indeed be risky.
Across town, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will give Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) some words of wisdom regarding Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) as well as Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may apologize to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) for assuming she was the threat to Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) marriage when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was busy in Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) bed.
Although Portia will hold out hope that she can salvage her career and relationship with Trina after that court disaster, she’ll fear that’s wishful thinking.
As for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll grow concerned when he gets updates on a postponed package arrival.
Whether it’s a present for Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), James West (James Gary Fuller) or another character, Cody will need that package to come in time for Christmas!
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will put aside any worries regarding Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial.
Instead, Liesl and Nina will have an attitude of gratitude for the blessings that have come back to them this year.
Although Obrecht still has issues with Britt, Nina may push her to admit she’s thankful her daughter survived.
Liesl and Nina will also acknowledge how blessed they are to have Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) alive and well.
Willow agreed to give Nina another chance too, so that’ll be another positive thing to focus on.
