The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) is playing an exciting new role, so the B&B alum recently made an Instagram announcement. Brooks has a film coming out soon that’s sure to delight all his fans.
Deadline is reporting that Brainstorm Media has picked up The Roaring Game, which also stars Mickey Rourke and Rob Gronkowski, for North American distribution.
They confirmed a February 2026 release date, which Brooks also shared in an Instagram post.
“LETS CURL…COMING FEBRUARY 2026!!! Just in time for the Winter Olympics!” Brooks said.
Of course, Brooks’ comments about curling and the Winter Olympics are due to the premise of the movie, which is certainly unique and intriguing.
The Roaring Game follows the story of a high school custodian named Rickey, who puts together a curling team of misfits and uses his janitorial talents to his advantage.
The goal is to score a gold medal and win back a former flame, so it sounds like a fun flick!
Brooks has been hyping up his role as Rickey and definitely seems eager for everyone to check out the film.
Although Darin Brooks hasn’t been seen on B&B since January 2024, fans haven’t forgotten about Wyatt Spencer.
It’s a shame that Wyatt wasn’t around for all the Spencer family drama involving Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) fake brain tumor fiasco.
Now Wyatt is missing out on the Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) baby daddy mess, which is also a bummer since we know he’d want to be there for his little brother.
Wyatt will presumably be absent from Liam and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) wedding too, but we can all hold out hope that maybe he’ll return sometime down the road.
You can never say never on soaps, so perhaps Wyatt’s comeback could still happen at some point.
