The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) recently fired back and defended Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) after some social media accusations were thrown her way. Clifton proved that he’s got Wood’s back and set the record straight about what’s really happening behind the scenes.
The trouble started on X when someone acted like they had inside knowledge and tried to stir the pot.
The account claimed that B&B Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell wanted to put Liam back with Steffy, but he didn’t because of Wood’s feelings about the pairing.
This person tried to make it seem like Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was winning by default and made Wood sound like a drama queen in the process.
However, Clifton noticed the accusations against Wood and decided to speak up.
It’s clear that Scott Clifton has nothing but love and respect for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who’s entitled to have an opinion when it comes to story directions for her character.
Clifton indicated that Wood was willing to pour her heart into her performance no matter what.
“Jacqui is a consummate professional and a dream coworker. Two things are true at once: she has expressed the (very reasonable) personal/creative opinion that ‘Steam’ has run its course; yet if Mr. Bell wrote Liam and Steffy getting back together again, she would give it 110%,” Clifton insisted.
Many fans would have to agree about Liam and Steffy running their course as a pairing.
Steffy is happily married to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), who’s proven to be a much better husband than Liam ever was to her.
Finn and Steffy have problems like any other soap couple, but they always manage to work through them and stick together in the end. It’s refreshing to have a stable duo like Steffy and Finn on canvas.
Liam and Hope’s reunion makes a lot more sense right now since her love life’s been a mess ever since they split up.
Hope and Liam are a good match, so it’s not surprising that they’ve found their way back to each other once again.
Naturally, it’s possible that Liam and Steffy’s romance will come back around at some point.
Based on Clifton’s comments, he clearly believes Wood will give it her all regardless of what’s ahead for Steffy down the road.
It was nice of Scott Clifton to speak up in defense of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and clarify where things stand!
