The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of August 11-15 reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will seek out a new recruit while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) decides he’s had enough. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will also get a surprise, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.
First, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will snap at Sharon and threaten to distance herself from her mother.
The more Sharon tries to help Mariah deal with her trauma, the more Mariah will shut her down.
Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll be the bearer of terrible news.
Since Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) hasn’t heard about Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) fatal outcome yet, he’ll be stunned when Lily reveals what happened in France.
While Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) updates Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) on some secrets regarding her alliance with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will take action across town.
That’s because Claire will witness a kiss between Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Since Claire will decide she’s done with Audra’s games, she’ll find a way to put her rival in her place.
Will Claire tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that Audra’s been locking lips with Kyle?
Will Claire reveal that Audra’s Vibrante deal was all about breaking up her committed relationship?
Claire could at least use all that as leverage and try to settle Audra down.
Audra will do her best to keep her romance with Nate intact, but things could get rocky depending on what Claire does next.
Elsewhere, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will lose his temper during a tense conversation with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
That could be related to Billy’s partnership with Cane, but Billy will secretly be scheming to help Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and their family business.
Jack will fill Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) in on Billy serving as an inside man and worry about his unreliable brother controlling the fate of Jabot.
Later, Y&R spoilers say Jack will get an invite he didn’t anticipate.
That could be from Cane since he seems poised to reject Victor’s attempt at an alliance against the Abbotts.
Whatever the case, Victor will move forward with a revenge plot and will ultimately make Nick his new recruit.
Since Victor will need all hands on deck against Cane, he’ll hope Nick’s willing to step up like never before.
Sharon should be surprised by the vengeful turn Nick’s about to take, so that could create some hurdles when it comes to their romantic reconnection.
While Daniel opens up to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) about his messy feelings for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will turn to Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) with a request.
Will Christine ask Lauren to be her matron of honor or at least help with some wedding prep?
Lauren and Danny will have a lot to do before their upcoming nuptials, but they’ll definitely look forward to tying the knot.
Back with Lily, she’ll visit Cane on his American train and eventually get a promise.
Cane may vow to be a better man who’s worthy of Lily and hold out hope that they can live happily ever after.
It seems Lily will give Cane a reason to think a reunion is possible as she tries to pry more information out of him.
However, Lily could be playing a dangerous game since both their hearts could be affected by her manipulation.
Finally, Adam’s patience will run out when it comes to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and her constant attempts to defend Billy.
