In tonight’s 1000-lb sister episode, Amy was having an art show. She does mixed forms of media. She creates art out of everything. This included old junk at her house that she wanted to clear. It’s been a great way for her to balance her emotions and she invited her family to see it. She even called Andrea to invite Tammy.
She did this in spite of what Tammy did. Tammy returned one of her paintings. She had asked Tammy back when things were good to do a Paris theme painting to go with her bathroom and her sister came through for her. She created a Paris themed piece. And now that they were fighting, Tammy returned the piece to Amy.
It hurt Amy. It made her feel like her sister was calling her trash. She was in tears about it. Tammy forgets that as she complains about Amy. She forgets that she drew blood and so Tammy still saw herself as the victim. She got upset that Andrea told her about the art show. She felt that Amy should’ve just messaged her herself. She also claims that she’s always apologized to Amy and that she was sick of bending over backwards to kiss her butt. In what world is living in? There’s no one that buys it.
Andrea doesn’t because she was there that day. She saw that Tammy went to the car and refused to come out. There was no apology. There was no attempt at an apology.
Tammy simply comped an attitude. Tammy added that she didn’t want to celebrate her birthday in any special way. She wanted it to passed by with no fanfare and her family ignored her. Chris convinced Andrea to bring Tammy to an amusement park. Tammy thought it was just going to be the two of them. The truth is that Chris wanted a dry run.
He wanted a dry run for a lot of things. Chris used Amy’s art show to dry run his catering business. He and his wife catered the event. Misty came all done up. She wore a dress as well as heels. She even threw in some makeup. Misty took an art show seriously. She looked great. She was more dressed than Amy.
Amy wore jean capris. She was the least dressed up for her own event. An event she was worried about at first. It took people forever to show. They started coming in later on. There was some that went as far to buy her art and it made the entire show a success.
Then came the amusement park. Andrea was a good girlfriend. She could see that Tammy wants Amy back in her life. The only thing stopping that from happening was Tammy’s pride.
She refused to apologize to anyone. Andrea then asked Chris for advice and Chris pretty much said spring it on her. He said that sometimes that’s the best way to deal with Tammy’s temper. It was a disaster. Tammy circled Amy. Amy circled Tammy. They didn’t talk and all it did was convince Tammy that she didn’t want to go to New Orleans anymore.
Chris was planning a New Orleans trip to celebrate his wife, Brittany. Brittany recently had bariatric surgery. She lost over fifty pounds. She did the surgery in the hope of one day having a child of her own
. Chris was already a father. He has two kids. He has grandkids. He will be pushing fifty by time Brittany was cleared to have a baby, but he was willing to do it for her. The others didn’t think he would and still he said yes. He offered to get tested to make sure that everything was still running on his end.
His wife didn’t want him using porn to give a sample. She told him to instead think of her. Chris likes to laugh about that and the truth is he loves her so much that he’d do anything for her.
Which was why he wanted to take her to New Orleans. She always wanted to visit. Chris invited his family and he was thinking of getting an RV for all of them to drive down there together. The problem was between Amy and Tammy. Hence he used Tammy’s birthday celebration as a dry run for that too. It didn’t go well.
Amy left without ever acknowledging Tammy. Tammy tried to tell her she loved her as she was leaving – Amy didn’t respond. That convinced Tammy not to go on the family vacation.
Tammy also stormed out not long after Amy did. She didn’t want to go on vacation. She didn’t want to be around her siblings right now.
She especially didn’t want to be around Brittany because Brittany allegedly pushed her on their trip to the UK. Chris caught Tammy before she fell. Yet, he never said anything about a push or a fall or this beef between his wife and Tammy that seems to have sprung out of nowhere.
