In tonight’s American Ninja Warrior episode, the Eastern Regional Qualifiers continued on tonight’s all new episode. It begins first with the Shrinking Steps followed by the Rollercoaster, Domino Effect, Kite Surfer, Wall To Wall, and the Warped Wall. Up first was Kirill Rebkovets. He was a circus performer and acrobat.
He even has his own mobile ninja gym to help him train when he’s on the road, but hey at least he admits he’s a little crazy. He designed that mobile ninja gym on his own. It also turned into a RV with a shower and a cooktop. And he didn’t forget an entertainment center for his kids in this car.
It was no SUV. Yet, he can honestly say he lives, eats, and drives ninja. Kirill crashed out on the second obstacle last season and so tonight was his redemption. He made it as far as Wall To Wall when he fell.
He has to wait and see if he went far enough fast enough. Next up was Rose Lord. She first tried out on ANW Juniors. She made it to the Semifinals on that spinoff. She was trying out the adult version seven years later and she proved she was still skilled. She sailed through the first two obstacles.
Rose nearly fell on the Domino Effect where she managed to pull off an impressive win. She was the first to make it past Wall To Wall. She deserved that buzzer and unfortunately she used up all three tries trying to get up that thing. She proved too short for it. The buzzer alluded her tonight only odds are she’s made it into the next round.
There was a commercial break before the show returned with Jay Flores. He was known as the Mad Scientist because he tries to make science fun for kids. He’s written a book about the subject as well.
Jay was doing pretty good tonight. He made it through the first few obstacles without any problems. Which is huge when people remember what happened to Joe Moeravsky. Jay made it past those and he got as far as Wall To Wall when the dreaded curse kicked in.
Wall To Wall has taken out some great ninjas and it continued to do so tonight when it knocked out Jay. He too has to wait and see about the results. He was soon followed by Sean Louglin. He was a young man born with a condition that has him hooked up to a feeding tube twenty hours a day.
Sean purposely disconnected himself from that tube for his run tonight. His run was graceful and smoother than butter. He only struggled with two obstacles. One being Wall to Wall.
He was able to hold on where so many fell. He happily admitted he was running on empty by that point and he needed all three tries before he eventually made it up the Warped Wall. He was good. He was short and didn’t have much of muscles, but he made a great ninja, He was the first finisher of the night. Justin Adelin followed him.
Justin trained in a zoo. He loves being around animals. One of whom bit Akbar and he’s never forgotten it. Justin fell on the Domino Effect tonight because he couldn’t save himself as Rose did. Peaceselah Lopez didn’t even make it that far. The rookie was a musician. She was lead of her own rock band.
She also threw in some dancing and was amping up the crowd before she untimely fell on Rollercoaster. Tonight was it for the both of them. They will not be advancing. The show also brought two of the Fantastic Four female ninjas and surprisingly those two had a bad night too.
Alyssa even said that was her worst run ever. David Bergstrom-Wright went next. He was the Cake Ninja. He said eating cake gives him the push he needed to compete. He also brings enough cake for the tv crew. They were gorging as he sailed through the course and had completed the course in less than a minute.
He had a chance at the Mega only he couldn’t get up there. It would’ve been an additional ten grand if he had. Still, impressive though. He was followed by Cole Rhodes-Dow. The computer guy created his own anime of what it would look like when he made it up the Mega.
It was so realistic that everyone was hoping for his wish to come true. Its just that tonight wasn’t his night. He ran into Wall To Wall and it took him down. Next up was Max Salebra. He too was on ANW Juniors.
He was now on the adult version and he handled the course like a pro. He easily went through it. He got to the buzzer and became a finisher. He was perhaps the youngest in the history of ANW. He was soon followed by Electric Enzo. His real name is Enzo DeFerrari. He was known for his speed.
Electric Enzo almost fell on the Rollercoaster tonight. He managed to pull out a save and course correct. He ended up finishing with the fastest time so far. He even went after the Mega Wall where he was the first to win the extra ten grand tonight. Lilah Nathison went next.
She was a college student who was there on sports scholarship and she seemed strong until she fell on Kite Surfer. She in turn was followed by Brad Giles. Brad was his happiest when he was splashing money out like it was going out of style.
He also had one of his best runs so far. He made it all the way to Wall To Wall when he fell. That obstacle was just plain evil by this point. There’s been so many falling prey to it that they couldn’t wait for the next round. RJ Roman The Rocker Nija was up next. He was a known speed demon. Well, he’s been working on himself.
He got into wrestling. He’s been training to do just that and it helped his ninja routine. He sailed through that course with the fastest so far. He was given a chance at the Mega, but he gave up steam before he could get up there. He was still a finisher and we guess for RJ that was enough.
Akshara Pappu was next. She has a sweet tooth. Snack training method helped her get into shape for ANW. She was all set on the first female finisher and missed it. Missed it but not by much. Abby Clarke also returned. The legendary ninja didn’t make any mistakes tonight. She sailed through that obstacle course, and it helped get a buzzer tonight. Maybe she’ll try for the Mega Wall one of these days. Still, a winner. There can be no sleeping on winners and their capabilities.
Jackson Erdos was the last ninja of the night. He was Matt’s pick on the fastest time. Only time will tell if this prediction came true and would you look at that – it’s the future. The future says Matt has every reason to be happy he named Jackson ran the course with the fastest time and he went after the Mega Wall where he earned that additional ten grand from it.
Matt’s pick won the night.
THE END!
