Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for July sweeps imply a major power struggle between Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley), while Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will deal with wedding chaos.
Plus, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) digs into her dark side.
Leslie swore up and down that she would be a changed woman in light of Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle) life being saved, thanks to Kat donating a piece of her liver to her.
Still, all arrows are pointing towards the idea that Leslie may go back on that promise and dig into her dark side come sweeps month.
After all, during the first week of July, Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) will get down on one knee and ask Kat to be his wife.
Some feel like it’s a bit too soon; however, after the tornado that ripped through the country club and Kat almost dying after her transplant surgery, Tomas wants to grab the bull by the horns and spend the rest of his life with the love of his life.
The two aren’t living together at this point, and Kat has been hesitant about moving too fast in the past, so will she say yes when he proposes?
It sounds like Kat may be on the fence, and Leslie’s reaction could trigger her to accept Tomas’s proposal, just out of spite.
After all, Kat would love nothing more than to have her father, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), walk her down the aisle before Eva.
Leslie is desperate for Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami) and Eva to get engaged, so she’ll be jealous and upset, and this could launch an entirely new feud between Leslie and Kat, where Eva is dragged into it.
Leslie may purposely try to sabotage Kat’s wedding plans or do something else to place a wrench in the fun festivities because of her agitation.
Still, it was also recently hinted that Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) might also be rubbed the wrong way if Kat and Tomas get engaged.
She’s planning a wedding of her own to Dr. Madison Montgomery (Kenjah), so she may be upset that all the attention might be shifted off her wedding and onto Kat’s big day.
Will this affect the ChelseaKat brand and their relationship?
Speaking of Madison, her legal case will be in full swing as Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) battle Bill’s former employee, the shady Mike Davis (Pierce Lackey).
It sounds like Mike will pull some underhanded moves in the process, so will he get the better of Bill?
Could Madison end up being the one who gets hurt the most by this?
Speaking of Bill, he and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will remain dedicated to keeping their elevator romp hush-hush, but it sounds like more than Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) could find out during July Sweeps.
While on the topic of Vanessa, Beyond the Gates spoilers for July note a power struggle between her boyfriend, Joey, and daughter Deanna.
Thanks to some advice from her ghostly dad, Doug McBride (Jason Graham), Deanna is pretending to accept Vanessa’s romance with Joey.
Still, what she’s really doing is setting a trap for the casino owner.
Interestingly enough, it sounds like Joey will also be scheming in his own right, as he’s slated to enlist Randy Parker (Maurice K. Perry) with an important task that involves Deanna.
Fans may recall that Randy is Doug’s old childhood friend, so Randy will be encouraged to reconnect with his late buddy’s daughter.
What does Joey have planned for Deanna? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
Across town, Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) will slowly start to reconnect, post-plasma ring drama, so it’ll be nice to see these two come back together.
Speaking of the plasma ring, fans will likely also see Joey’s sister, Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) a.k.a. “The Impaler” return to Fairmont Crest, which will only cause more issues for the casino owner.
Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) has been breathing down Joey’s neck about the plasma ring, and “The Impaler” so Heather being in town and in Joey’s orbit could cause a ton of problems for him.
Elsewhere, Naomi may end up telling her mom, Dani, about the BRCA gene test results and how she tested positive.
The only person who knows about this is Ashley, and the guilt will start to eat away at Naomi, especially where Jacob is concerned.
Still, all arrows point to the idea that Naomi may continue to keep this under wraps until she finds out she has breast cancer, which is bound to leave her husband and family stunned!
