Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has become the main source of drama in Salem.
It feels like EJ is at the center of way too many storylines, so some viewers are starting to feel like enough is enough!
EJ has always been a pretty interesting character, but soaps still need balance.
With EJ tangled up in all these hot plots, that doesn’t leave as much airtime for other Days characters
EJ played a big role in Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) resurrection and is on the verge of facing major backlash now that she’s dying again.
Of course, EJ has also been accused of targeting Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Although Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is actually to blame for Gwen’s disappearance, EJ has still been accused and has become part of this story as a result.
DOOL fans can’t forget about EJ’s feud with Titan, Gabi Hernandez’s (Cherie Jimenez) new DiMera-related suspicions or all the Coriseal chaos either.
EJ framed Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) by planting pills in her bag and has dragged Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) into his tainted drug cover-up as well.
On top of all that, EJ has a fierce feud going on with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and wants to ship her off to the DiMera private island.
There’s also EJ’s storyline with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), who’s secretly plotting his takedown while winning his trust.
It feels like EJ’s everywhere and mixed up in almost everything in town!
It’s starting to become EJ overload, especially since Days already did a similar plot last year.
The writers are playing EJ up as the big bad wolf, but they did the same thing back when he was the focus of the shooter whodunit.
What’s the point in rehashing all that and taking EJ down a sinister road again?
EJ might actually learn his lesson this time around, but it’s tough to believe he’ll ever truly turn from his wicked ways for good.
Regardless, it’d be nice to see EJ face a real comeuppance, especially since he’s become part of so many horrible schemes and created tons of heartache.
