Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, April 27 to May 8, reveal that multiple storylines will head in risky directions.
Several Salemites will get their lives turned upside down, so let’s dive in and discuss what’s ahead.
During the week of April 27-May 1, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will blindside Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) by introducing him to his baby girl, Kelsey, so he’ll have a lot to wrap his head around – and so will Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) once she finds out, too!
Stephanie will use Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) as a confidant and presumably won’t realize he’s the one who set Joy’s return to Salem in motion.
Jeremy will get the wrong idea about a close moment with Stephanie and lean in for a kiss, which she’ll ultimately reject.
Stephanie may lash out at Jeremy and leave him realizing it’s better to leave Salem since his Days final airdate will be April 29.
Joy, on the other hand, will be sticking around with Baby Kelsey, so she’ll become a major source of conflict in Alex and Stephanie’s marriage.
Since a surprise codicil has emerged ahead of Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) will reading, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will hear the news and learn he’s been named the executor.
Even so, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will push Theo to pass along responsibilities to someone else and stay out of all the DiMera drama.
Over with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), she’ll help Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) get ready for her mammogram while Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) moves forward with Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) twisted plan for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
It looks like Sophia will use pepper spray as she ambushes Johnny and gains entrance to his place.
Sophia will prepare to kill Johnny once she’s inside the apartment, but Johnny will try to convince her this is the wrong call.
Over with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), Days spoilers say he’ll figure out that Johnny is in a dangerous situation.
Javi will also collapse at the hospital like he’s perhaps been poisoned, that could be Sophia’s doing.
As for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) they’ll discover a note that indicates Sophia’s planning on taking her own life.
It’ll really just be a manipulative move on Sophia’s part since she wants to blame Holly and then skip town.
Since Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) invited Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) to move in her place while he recovers from his leg injury, he’ll settle in and impress her with his progress.
The week of May 4-8 may bring Shawn and Jada closer since we know some romantic sparks are going to fly for them again soon.
In the meantime, the Sophia and Johnny situation will go off the rails. Johnny will survive whatever’s in store, but what about Sophia?
Things could take a truly deadly turn for Sophia depending on the exit that DOOL writers might have in mind for her.
While Alex bonds with little Kelsey, Joy will no doubt take this opportunity to try and pull him closer.
Stephanie may become jealous and increasingly uncertain of where things stand in her marriage.
Of course, Stephanie’s new gun will surely come into play eventually.
It feels like Days is setting up a story where Stephanie pulls the trigger and hurts someone who doesn’t deserve it since she isn’t obeying Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) safety rules.
