Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) may already be laying the groundwork for Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) takedown.
Sophia still wants Holly to pay and certainly doesn’t mind if Tate Black (Leo Howard) suffers in the process.
In Days’ April 22 episode, Sophia offered up a couple of potential hints about what’s ahead.
During a conversation with Tate, Sophia claimed that Holly wished her dead and acted like his girlfriend was the one to worry about.
It felt like Sophia was trying to play Holly up as someone vengeful and unhinged enough to kill her.
Sophia also assumed Tate would be happy to never see her again, but she warned him to be careful what he wished for.
Since Sophia previously wanted to leave town anyway, she may plan on faking her demise and bolting.
Sophia may feel like that’s the best plan since Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has roped her into killing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Perhaps Sophia has decided that after Johnny faces a grim fate, she doesn’t need to stick around and become a suspect in his murder.
Sophia may think she needs to disappear – and what better way to do that than by faking her death?
Of course, Sophia may want to plant some clues and make it seem like Holly killed her before she goes.
It’s possible Sophia won’t truly be deceased at all if her plan works.
However, there could be a problem if Kristen plans to end Sophia for good once their business concludes.
Days spoilers say Sophia is going to blunder this Johnny hit anyway, so that could give Kristen a reason to seek fatal payback.
It always seemed odd that Kristen was willing to join forces with Sophia after she manipulated Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote).
Maybe Kristen has been manipulating Sophia too and intends to kill her once she’s done using her.
It would make sense for Kristen to want to tie up that loose end.
Depending on where Days writers are going with this, it’s even possible someone else could go after Sophia and cause a fatal outcome.
Bottom line, the writing appears to be on the wall when it comes to Sophia’s disturbing DOOL exit.
It’s probably just a matter of whether it’ll be a fake murder mystery or a real one!
Either way, Holly may land at the top of the Salem PD’s suspect list thanks to whatever trail Sophia might leave behind.
