Days of Our Lives (DOOL) update for the week of July 27-31 indicates that one homecoming will be celebrated while another one brings trouble for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
EJ’s Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) setup will also start to crumble thanks to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and the puzzle pieces he’s put together.
First, Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will leave Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) floored when she backs him into a corner.
Alex will face another ultimatum that involves Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) before Joy consults Belle Black (Martha Madison) for legal advice.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will also end up in Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) arms after they speculate about the true culprit responsible for the counterfeit bag ring.
Arianna “Ari” Hernandez (Vico Escorcia) could potentially be caught up in all this since she wants Gabi to pay for going to extremes with Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop).
While Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) delivers an apology to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and asks for forgiveness, Days spoilers say Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will make her way back to Salem.
That’ll give Susan a chance to rip into EJ for trying to become the new Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).
Since that’s the last thing Susan wants for her son, she’ll try to put a stop to EJ’s atrocious behavior.
Speaking of EJ’s atrocious behavior, DOOL spoilers say his plot to frame Holly for drug use will get exposed.
Xander won’t be able to prove it, but Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will presumably buy his theory once he points the finger at EJ for planting the pills.
Over with Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford), Days spoilers say she’ll get busted for lying. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will uncover some deception on Lexie’s part, but she may manage to hide the news that she’s dying again for now.
Lexie may act like she’s just sad over all the time she missed, so Theo and Abe will surprise her by breaking out the Christmas decorations and catching up on some past holidays.
Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) will also get a welcome home party following her release from Bayview, but Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will get abducted and thrown into the kidnapping container near the airfield.
Lexie will show up as promised, but so will EJ since he’s about to have a truthful discussion with Kristen for once.
Will EJ realize he’s taking things too far and get Kristen’s admission that she did the same by targeting Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman)?
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will also solve the mystery of Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) disappearance and plan an urgent Alamainia trip to save her from Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte), so stay tuned.
