In tonight’s Fire Country Eepisode, Bode was enjoying working in REMS. He never thought he’s get the chance to work on saving a fellow member. Only he did exactly that tonight.

He saved a member of REMS. He made a name for himself. He was also enjoying the challenges. It wasn’t so hard that someone became jealous of his success. Bode was at the apartment with Chloe, Eve, and Jake.

They were discussing what to do about Jake’s dilemma. Jake’s girlfriend wanted to become a lawyer for CalFire and her boss told her to break up with Jake if she wants the job. Bode was telling them that maybe they could pretend to have broken up when suddenly deputies came bursting through the door.

The deputies didn’t say who they were looking for or why. They just handcuffed everyone. The one person that wasn’t arrested was Tyler. Tyler had been meeting with his lawyer preparing for trial.

He hadn’t been at the apartment. Nor would the deputies be looking for him. They came to the apartment because they got a call about gunshots and screaming. There was no gun. There was no screaming. The neighbors corroborated that none of what was said in the 911 call actually happened.

They had been swatted. Someone called in a fake distress call in the hopes of Bode getting hurt. Chloe and Bode both believed it was Landon. Landon was a jerk of an ex.

It wasn’t enough that he hated Tyler and bullied a child to the point of nearly no return, but now he was swatting people. Bode stopped by his house. He didn’t go there to threaten him. He wanted to call a truce. He said that they can agree to stay out of each other’s way. They wouldn’t bring up the other or start anything.

Landon wasn’t satisfied with that offer. He practically gloated about becoming an eyewitness for the prosecution against Tyler. He said he told them that Tyler had written manifesto that burned in the fire he set and that he had a bunch of accelerants in his closet.

It was all lies. Not that it mattered to Landon because he was still upset that Chloe chose her son over him. He also had a new reason to be upset. He hated that Sharon turned people against him at the rodeo. He’s been put on unpaid leave from work so he felt this mess with Tyler costed him his job on top of his old house.

Landon wanted revenge. He didn’t care how much he hurt Tyler before. He wanted to hurt him even more now. He wanted to sink his case and there’s nothing Bode could do to stop him. Bode knew better than to threaten Landon. He walked away that time. He instead took out his frustrations on the boxing bag. Jake did the same.

Violet did get an official offer. It was her dream job and he didn’t want to be the boyfriend that told her to walk away from it. He also didn’t want to break up. He made things difficult by informing her boss about their relationship.

Jake loved Violet. He just doesn’t know what to do now. He and Bode got called to what they thought was a small fire. It proved to be an uncontrolled fuel release. There was a lot of orphan oil wells from back in the day that were still full of fuel. The fire was large. It was a steady stream so Sharon said they call in the experts. Problem was that the experts were over six hours away. They weren’t going to make it to the scene in time and night was falling. Bode had run into an explosion expert. He told Sharon about it. Sharon agreed to let the firefighters blow up the oil well.

By blowing it up, it sets off the defense mechanism that will turn it off before it becomes a bomb. It was a small explosion and it still sent Bode and Jake flying when they set it off. The plan worked.

They turned off the oil well. The specialist came in and capped it off officially. Jake figured out how to resolve his problem with Violet. He was going to propose to her. It wasn’t conflict of interest if they were married.

Bode also got his answer to his problem too. The firefighters warned Landon he broke the law by swatting and so they helped him to leave town. They even helped him pack.

Manny was in a good mood because he told Camille about his prison record. They shared their baggage and he doesn’t mind that she was in med school debt. He was fine with camping over vacations overseas anyways. So, Manny was down to help Tyler. He already helped the Three Rock kids with a heartbreak that helping Tyler seemed easy.

Tyler even got a special deal from the District Attorney’s office once Landon changed his story. He doesn’t have to be tried as an adult. He gets to go to juvie.

Tyler didn’t hide what he did and he was going to receive help. It was in the best interests of everyone that he finally speak to a therapist.

And Bode might be leading REMS soon now that his boss was out of the picture due to injury.

THE END!
