General Hospital (GH) spoilers report there’s some difficult news to report about a GH and Days of Our Lives alum. Robert Kelker-Kelly has passed away at the age of 62.
Although Kelker-Kelly’s cause of death hasn’t been publicly revealed yet, a medical examiner in Missouri confirmed October 3 was the day he died.
Robert Kelker-Kelly was a familiar face to daytime drama fans for decades, starting with his role as Sam Fowler on Another World back in 1987.
Kelker-Kelly also portrayed Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives from 1992-1995.
Peter Reckell is best known for playing Bo, but Kelker-Kelly stepped in while Reckell was away from the show.
Kelker-Kelly also did multiple stints as Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital until his final appearance back in 2014.
The actor appeared on the spinoff soap Port Charles as well.
You might’ve caught Kelker-Kelly in other film and television projects like Rescue 77, Touched by an Angel, Dream for an Insomniac, Maybe This Time and more over the years.
Thanks to Lisa Rinna’s (ex-Billie Reed on Days) memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, Robert Kelker-Kelly’s name was in the news back in February.
Rinna made some strong accusations about Kelker-Kelly in her book, but the actor never offered a public response.
According to Kelker-Kelly’s IMDb page, his role as Stavros on GH marked the end of his acting career.
However, Kelker-Kelly was also a pilot who flew professionally.
As for what’s ahead in Port Charles, the home associated with the Cassadine family will take center stage this fall.
Someone mysterious is on the verge of purchasing Wyndemere, so that’s led to some speculation among viewers about one of the Cassadines returning.
That said, the castle could just as easily end up in the hands of someone without a Cassadine connection.
Since a mystery man named Jude (Wil Traval) will appear in PC starting in October.
Assuming Jude sticks around, he’ll need somewhere to live and could easily snatch up Wyndmere for himself.
Jude may be the next villain in line to take ownership following Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) time on Spoon Island.
