General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) recently announced something wonderful during a conversation with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but it’s actually a reminder that some crushing news is brewing instead.
Sadly, Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) demise seems to be just around the corner.
In GH’s October 6 episode, Felicia revealed that Robert and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) are supposedly coming back to Port Charles for a visit.
Robert needs to tie up some loose ends in PC regarding the district attorney job that he’s officially leaving behind.
From there, Holly and Robert want to return to France so they can make it their permanent home.
That’s where Robert intends to retire and happily live out the rest of his days with Holly by his side.
Unfortunately, Robert won’t get this blissful ending that he’s dreaming of.
It’s obvious that something will go wrong and lead to Robert’s unexpected death instead.
Tristan Rogers died back in August 2025, but the show hasn’t aired a memorial tribute to the actor yet.
However, it’s confirmed that one is indeed coming up, so Robert is going to face a grim fate so that Rogers can get the proper sendoff.
With that in mind, the fact that Robert and Holly are planning this visit home seems like a sign that Robert’s days are numbered.
It’s just a matter of how Robert will perish now that the show’s obviously setting up his death arc.
It’s possible it’ll be as simple as Robert having a fatal medical condition that claims his life unexpectedly in France.
That said, the show might choose to give Robert a more heroic ending if there’s some scary situation where he dies saving Holly or even Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford).
A plane crash might be another possibility, but would they actually kill off Holly, too?
Maybe Robert will end up flying solo at the last minute if Holly is under the weather and can’t tag along.
One way or another, it sounds like the ABC soap will derail Robert’s homecoming and give him a tragic ending off-screen.
It’ll allow plans for Tristan Rogers’ memorial to finally move forward.
