General Hospital Friday, April 24 Recap: Valentin Impersonates Dr. Kevin Collins – Britt Pushes Cassius & Lulu’s Breakup

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, April 24, reveals that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made a sneaky move over the phone while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) demanded that “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) split from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) stopped by with a copy of Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) book and told Valentin that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) with a copy of his own the night of the blizzard.

Cullum also had a box of cigarillos like Faison used to enjoy, so Valentin knew he had to be linked to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) breakdown.

Valentin grew frustrated over the timeline not working and whatever connection he was missing.

After Valentin yelled and sent something tumbling, Josslyn scolded him since he needed to be quiet and keep his stay at Carly’s place under wraps.

Since Josslyn saw “Nathan” coming out of Cullum’s room, she questioned Valentin about whether “Nathan” might be tangled up in Cullum and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) operation.

Valentin thought it was best for Josslyn to keep her distance from “Nathan” just in case, but she didn’t seem willing to listen.

Once Valentin was alone, he called the clinic where Anna was staying and impersonated Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to get information.

In the Metro Court Gardens, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) sat down with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) now that she’d returned from her New Zealand trip.

Felicia admitted Anna was getting worse and slipping further into her paranoia, which had resulted in her thinking the staff at her clinic were working for Faison.

Anna had tried to escape multiple times, so Obrecht was concerned about someone getting hurt.

Since part of Anna’s delusions involved Liesl treating her and still being connected to Faison, Felicia pushed for her help.

Felicia wanted Obrecht to join her in France and hoped they could visit Anna to convince her that wasn’t true.

Liesl felt that her presence would make things worse and fuel Anna’s delusions, so she turned Felicia down.

Felicia also quizzed Obrecht about whether Faison might actually still be alive.

Liesl considered it since her children had returned from the grave, but she hoped it wasn’t true.

Josslyn eventually cornered Obrecht later to ask her about “Nathan” and the possibility that he’d been impersonating Faison.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) approached Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) at the bar since she was concerned about him drinking again, but it turned out he was just guzzling Shirley Temples.

Lulu found out about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pointing Laura toward Ezra’s drunken Brown Dog Bar spectacle, but Laura suggested he deserved a pass.

However, Laura eventually pushed Ezra to publicly support her new initiative before Lulu suggested she might write a negative story about him if he didn’t.

Ezra pointed out that supporting Laura would make him look good since her initiatives were popular with voters.

Lulu also spoke to Laura about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) being distant lately and sang “Nathan’s” praises.

In Britt’s room above Bobbie’s, she summoned Cassius and admitted she knew Rocco shot Cullum.

Cassius ranted since Rocco wasn’t supposed to be running his mouth and found out about the close call in Cullum’s room at GH.

Britt insisted Rocco felt guilty and needed someone to talk to, but Cassius snapped that he needed his mother and that wasn’t Britt.

Although Britt worried Cassius might ultimately use Rocco to score points with Cullum, Cassius insisted he would protect Lulu’s son.

Britt knew that secrets would always come out and worried about what would happen when Lulu learned “Nathan’s” true identity.

Cassius admitted he was in love with Lulu and was determined to keep up his Nathan charade.

Britt argued that if Cassius really loved Lulu like he claimed, he needed to end things between them now.

In New York City, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) spoke to Michael James Scott after the Aladdin show was over and convinced him to come sing at The Savoy in Port Charles.

Gio eventually joined Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) for a magical moment on stage together since the last set was still up.

Emma and Gio went out for dinner before returning to Gio’s friend’s place to enjoy their dessert.

Although Gio briefly thought Emma had some glitter on her after hugging a glitter-covered Michael, he realized he was wrong and that Emma simply sparkled.

General Hospital spoilers say Emma and Gio have more adventures ahead, so stay tuned.

CDL will have other great General Hospital spoilers and news to read up on, so make us your go-to GH source,
