General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, August 14, reveals that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had a proposal for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) did some plotting.
At the studio apartment above Charlie’s Pub, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) spoke to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) being transferred to Pentonville following a plea deal.
Justine feared Sonny might kill Jenz behind bars, but he promised he wouldn’t be responsible if anything happened to Sidwell.
Sonny also told Justine about leaving the mob, but she made it clear that their romance still needed to be kept a secret.
Since Sonny didn’t want to give Justine up, he was on board with that.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Jason Morgan (Jason Morgan) got cleaned up after fixing her lawnmower and filled Carly in on his decision to stop working for Sonny.
Jason and Carly ultimately shared an emotional moment as they established that nothing would ever change between them.
At the Quartermaine residence, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) told Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) that he was blackmailing Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) into living in the gatehouse and sought Tracy’s permission.
Tracy refused to give it at first and thought Michael should just use the info to take Willow down.
Michael still wanted the kids to have a relationship with their mother, but Tracy worried about Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) reaction.
After Michael guilt-tripped Tracy by bringing up Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and pleaded for his family’s sake, Tracy caved in and vowed to handle Brook Lynn.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Alexis tried to convince Drew to let Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) spend time with her family, but Drew stood his ground and got even nastier about it.
Brennan noticed the tension and stopped by the table to offer a veiled threat to keep Drew in line, so Drew took off.
Alexis wanted Brennan to share whatever dirt he had on Drew, so he agreed if she’d give him info related to Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte encouraged Danny to make up something he could use against Drew and sink to his level.
Danny eventually agreed he needed dirt on Drew, so Charlotte said it had to make him look really bad.
At the Metro Court pool, Scout swore Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) to secrecy and admitted her life was easier when Drew was in a wheelchair.
Scout was glad about Drew’s recovery, but she also missed hanging out with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) side of the family.
Rocco eventually suggested Scout should make Drew believe he was following his rules while secretly doing what she wanted.
Scout and Rocco strategized how they’d sneak to see each other since Drew didn’t like Rocco’s link to Sonny.
At the Quartermaine stables, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) found Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) tending to the horse bite on his hand and could tell he was bummed over James West (Gary James Fuller) leaving town.
Molly managed to lift Cody’s spirits by suggesting a trip together in Savannah, where she’d be promoting her book at a convention.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Cody and Molly will grow closer during their upcoming vacation, so stay tuned for more news on their future together.
