General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, June 5, reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will seek an alliance against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sends out a distress call.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also realize she’s got some power over Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean), so here’s what GH viewers can expect.
At Wyndemere, it looks like Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will successfully steal the blackmail photos and negatives using the combination Pascal Leveque (Marc Forget) provided.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be ready to eliminate Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) won’t be on board with that plan.
Laura obviously loathes Sidwell and wants him gone, but she can’t stand by and let Sonny end his life.
That’s just not how Laura rolls, so she may insist they have to find a way to put Sidwell behind bars instead.
Over with Ethan, he’ll meet with Ava and ask her to keep what she knows about his link to Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) to herself.
Ava will realize Ethan must be Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) bio dad and that he’s hoping she’ll keep a lid on that shocker.
Although Ava may agree to stay silent, she’ll probably want something in return.
Ava could potentially use this as leverage for future favors, so Ethan could find himself at her mercy soon enough.
Meanwhile, Nina will send out an SOS to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about Willow and the troubling road she’s headed down.
Nina will predict plenty of heartache for her daughter since Willow is latching onto Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and risking so much for a married man.
Obrecht will hand down a warning about the consequences Willow could face and may push Nina to work harder at keeping Willow in line.
Across town, Brook Lynn will have a new plan of her own, so she’ll sit down with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and ask for help sabotaging Willow’s pursuit of Chase.
However, Chase and Willow are going to share yet another close moment on Friday’s GH episode.
That may come after Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) spills good news about Phoebe’s father giving up his parental rights.
Ethan is pushing for a closed adoption, so Alexis will keep his name out of it as she spreads the latest details on Phoebe’s situation.
It’s possible Chase will accept the chief of staff position that Willow suggested, but it seems like he needs more time to mull that over and get Brook Lynn’s input.
It makes more sense for Willow to be celebrating Chase’s adoption developments in Friday’s preview clip since she’s over-the-top excited over something amazing.
While Willow embraces Chase and lands in inappropriate territory again, Obrecht could end up in a tight spot.
Liesl will face an unwelcome surprise, so could that involve an ambush over the secret project happening at Wyndemere?
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) mentioned a potential replacement for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so there’s a chance Obrecht could get dragged into all that drama next.
