General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, September 4, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was lured into a terrible trap on Mount Emerson.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) also faced a shocking exposure at the Quartermaines’ Labor Day party.
At the Quartermaine estate, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) struck up a conversation with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) about the night of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance at Charlie’s Pub.
Chase found out Brook Lynn didn’t actually make it in time to see that performance live.
After Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) showed up for the Labor Day gatering, Chase privately grilled her about the false statement she gave the PCPD and pushed her to amend it.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) also showed up for the party, so Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) talked to her monitoring Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) closely at Aurora.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) were at the mansion as well, so Brook Lynn convinced Trina to perform with Gio later.
As for Kai, he spoke with Michael and got reassurance that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) would be handled.
After Lucy left in a hurry, Chase cornered Brook Lynn alone.
That led to Chase ranting about BLQ’s vehicle scrape and his suspicions about her car being on Route 91 at the time of the accident.
Chase pointed out that they weren’t supposed to have any more secrets between them and fumed as he wondered if Brook Lynn was covering for someone at the house.
Brook Lynn promised to tell Chase everything, but she wanted to wait until they didn’t have a house full of people.
Trina eavesdropped around the corner and quickly realized Brook Lynn herself must be responsible for driving away from the crash site.
That’s why when it came time for Trina to perform with Gio, she couldn’t go through with it.
Instead, Trina confronted Brook Lynn in front of Jordan and everyone else about whether she was the other driver who left Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to die.
After Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) bumped into Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at the shooting range, Anna got all her supplies ready and called Britt to meet her on Mount Emerson for Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) intel.
Britt was supposed to head to a Labor Day party with Jason, but Anna was adamant about this meeting needing to happen now.
Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) overheard the part about Mount Emerson before Britt muttered about the things she did for her mother.
When Jason showed up looking for Britt at GH, Tristan revealed that Britt apparently headed off to Mount Emerson to do something for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Jason was suspicious over that news and called Sonny about his land there.
Sonny mentioned Anna wanting to buy a parcel for a private retreat, so Jason disconnected and repeatedly tried to call Britt with no success.
Once Anna put a tarp down, Britt showed up wondering why she wanted to meet all the way out there. Anna aimed her weapon at Britt and suggested it was so no one could hear her scream!
Back with Sonny, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) guided him through the process of signing papers to sever his business partnership with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Since Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) needed to pick up some food for the Quartermaine gathering, he took Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Breanna Tokarski) with him to Sonny’s place briefly. Both Sonny and Alexis offered warning about avoiding Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) wrath.
At Drew’s house, he met with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and faced questions about his recent evidence hunt. Although Drew couldn’t find the blackmail material, he suggested he’d avoid poking the bear and predicted Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) proof would stay buried.
After dealing with some contracts to liquidate his assets for the upcoming auction, Drew realized Scout had given him the slip and was no longer on the premises.
Once Drew used his phone to see Scout’s last location, he marched over to Sonny’s house and started pounding on the door.
As for Scout, she headed to the Quartermaine property with Rocco and went for a swim in the lake with him. Rocco and Scout shared a cozy moment afterward, which led to them kissing.
Since the Scout and Rocco were focused on each other instead of on Outback, the pup made her way back to the nature preserve and began digging at Brennan’s grave again.
Back at GH, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) removed the tick from Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) head and pushed for info on where she picked it up.
Isaiah noted that it could be the first case of a Lone Star tick in the area, so he needed to report this to the CDC.
Ava tensed up when Isaiah wanted to help retrace her steps and nail down exactly where the tick latched onto her.
