General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, August 24, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) pulled off a sneaky plan to gain the upper hand on Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also learned her latest WSB assignment and definitely wasn’t pleased about it, so here’s how things went down on Monday’s GH episode.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, she met with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about her leave of absence since she was taking a trip to see Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) in Ireland.
Laura wanted Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) to help cover her mayoral duties while she was away, but Justine and Anna were wary as they met with him.
Ezra wound up cracking a joke about working together to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Laura was gone.
It didn’t go over well and earned Ezra a lecture from Laura in the aftermath.
At the Metro Court pool, things were tense as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) met with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to discuss a proposition.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) saw that tension when she appeared and joined their table to help keep the peace.
Valentin wanted to get more involved at ELQ again, especially since Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had been focusing more on his health and family.
Although Valentin wasn’t looking to replace Ned, he wanted to play a part in revitalizing the company.
Jason was uneasy since he’d have to convince everyone else to sell shares to Valentin.
Carly defended Valentin’s motivations and tried to make Jason see that everyone could benefit from a more profitable ELQ, so he agreed to mull it over.
Once Anna sat with Carly, Jason and Valentin at their table, the conversation shifted to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and the WSB.
Anna had a flashback of her time in captivity at Wyndemere and got spooked, so she spilled beverages and looked flustered.
After Anna dashed off, she still seemed panicky in the elevator. Valentin followed Anna and pushed her to reveal what was really going on with her.
At Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) place, he got ambushed by Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) while cleaning and thought there was a break-in.
Joe ended up on the floor with Lucas before they realized they’d signed a lease for the same apartment due to a mix-up.
Since Lucas signed first, Joe planned to move all his stuff to a storage unit and start his apartment search again.
Lucas pitched the idea of Joe staying there temporarily instead.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pushed Willow to stay away from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and offered a reminder about Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) holding all the cards.
Willow muttered to herself about that not being the case for long after Tracy exited.
In Brennan’s office, Josslyn wasn’t happy when he explained her new assignment was to become the new CEO of Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Josslyn viewed this as another desk job, but Brennan argued that the order came from his superiors.
There was speculation that the WSB was targeting the company and needed Josslyn as a way in.
Brennan suggested that the WSB might be looking into one of the company’s subsidiaries, but Josslyn insisted Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Eden McCoy) wasn’t a criminal like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Jack said the job would be over quickly then and warned that no one could know the real reason Josslyn accepted it.
After Brennan got a phone call about Willow missing the WSB appropriations meeting, he marched over to confront her at the Quartermaine gatehouse.
Brennan wanted Willow to keep her end of their bargain, but she wanted Michael dirt first.
Jack argued he’d done enough for Willow and ranted about his use of WSB resources to bury the traffic cam footage, which allowed her to score that not guilty verdict and stay out of prison.
After Brennan tossed more threats around and took off, Willow removed her phone from her back pocket and smirked since she’d secretly recorded Brennan’s admission to use against him.
By the Quartermaine boathouse, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) found Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) with Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) in her arms, so he subtly pumped her for info about Phoebe’s birth mom over iced tea.
Hudson also mentioned that he was the godfather of one of his best friend’s kids and said he’d like to have one of his own someday.
Tracy pulled Brook Lynn into the boathouse, where she shared the news of her earlier confrontation with Willow.
Brook Lynn had faith in her future with Chase and acted like everything would be fine as long as they had their family with Phoebe.
Back with Hudson, he was taken aback when Josslyn met with him and announced she’d be accepting the Jasper Jacks Enterprises’ CEO position herself.
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn’s new assignment is sure to come with some twists and turns, so don’t miss all the action!
