General Hospital Monday, May 4 Recap: Cassius Traps Josslyn at Wyndemere – Valentin Holds Brennan at Gunpoint

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, May 4, reveals that Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) forced Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into captivity while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) backed Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) into a corner of his own.

At Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) apartment, Cassius warned “Agent Jacks” that he couldn’t let her go, but Joss refused to go down without a fight.

Josslyn whacked Cassius with a candlestick before grabbing a knife from the kitchen.

Cassius disarmed Josslyn, tossed her across the room and eventually gripped her by the neck until she lost consciousness.

At Wyndemere, Pascal (Marc Forget) caught Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) digging around and delivered a veiled threat about using the fireplace poker.

Lucas tried to downplay things to Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) when they walked in.

Sidwell asked Pascal to get them some drinks, but Pascal eventually got Cassius’ phone call about a situation that needed to be handled.

Pascal subtly alerted Sidwell, who convinced Ava and Lucas to join him at The Savoy so that the castle would be empty for a bit.

Later, Josslyn woke up in the same place Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had been held captive at Wyndemere.

After Josslyn realized the door was locked, she panicked and yelled for “Nathan” to let her out.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) bedroom, Brennan demanded to know who she’d been cheating with.

Carly told Brennan to turn around, so he looked and saw Valentin holding him at gunpoint.

Brennan assumed Valentin had manipulated Carly and that he was using her as a pawn for revenge.

However, Brennan found out that Carly posed as Valentin’s attorney and set this partnership in motion herself.

When Brennan asked about the reason for Carly’s betrayal, she insisted he turned her innocent daughter into a “lying, murdering spy” just like him.

Carly ranted about the whole situation with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and felt there could be no redemption for Brennan.

After Brennan admitted he regretted recruiting Josslyn, he angered Carly even further by pointing out Josslyn truly wanted to be a WSB agent.

Brennan assumed Valentin would flee with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) now, but Jack said he wouldn’t lift a finger to save Carly.

Once Brennan predicted Carly would go down for treason and harboring a fugitive, he suggested the WSB might throw her in a pit with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

As Brennan made his way for the door, he wondered whether Valentin would actually shoot him.

Valentin had another plan instead and warned that if Brennan refused to help them, he’d tell Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) that Jack was onto him.

Valentin assumed Cullum would pin all his crimes on Brennan and make him the fall guy.

As Brennan relented, he confessed that he’d wanted to spend the rest of his life with Carly.

Brennan also questioned how long it’d be before Valentin betrayed Carly and then walked out the door.

At The Savoy, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was uneasy over the news that the police were investigating the paint on the guardrail.

However, Brook Lynn’s spirits were lifted when Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) cheerfully introduced her to Michael James Scott and called her his mother.

Michael exchanged more introductions before taking the stage and performing “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) enjoyed the performance with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) before they made their way back to her apartment.

Thanks to Pascal helping Cassius, the place looked fine despite the confrontation that played out earlier.

However, the camera did a closeup on the candlestick that had been put back in a different spot.

Trina realized Josslyn had gone out, so she dashed off to the bedroom with Kai for some passionate moments.

Back at The Savoy on Monday’s GH episode, Sidwell got confirmation from Pascal over the phone that everything had been dealt with.

Over with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), his use of the word “partner” felt right to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos).

Cody also assured Molly that traveling together for her book tour would be fun despite her anxiety about it.

General Hospital spoilers say Molly and Cody will continue discovering new things about each other, so stay tuned to see what’s next for them as a couple.

CDL will have other great General Hospital spoilers and news to check out, so make us your favorite GH hotspot.
