General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply there will be a bloodbath of a beating at Pentonville this week as Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) gets ambushed, and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) comes to his rescue.
General Hospital’s preview for the week of September 21 provides an interesting scene at the jail, as an inmate approaches Curtis, telling him to find a reason not to be in his cell after lunch.
Meanwhile, another clip features Sidwell, cornered in his jail cell by the same inmate and an accomplice.
Some General Hospital scripts were leaked on social media back in late August of this year, confirming that both Curtis and Sidwell will land in the hospital after an awful beating.
All arrows are pointing toward this storyline unraveling over the week of September 21-25. In fact, Curtis will end up in the ICU because of it.
So, there’s no question that Sidwell will get ambushed, and that Curtis will be given a heads-up to stay away from his cell.
The real answer here is: why would Curtis get involved in the first place?
He and Sidwell are far from friends, and Sidwell isn’t the type of person who needs or deserves saving.
So, what will prompt Curtis to return to his cell and be a part of this?
Will something trigger Curtis into wanting to save Sidwell from the horrors that are about to come his way?
Curtis has been around the block long enough to know that if an inmate is telling him to stay out of the cell, then there is danger looming.
Curtis walked into prison with the idea that he’d be on his best behavior so he could get released on parole within two years – possibly earlier.
Curtis simply wants to do his time, stay out of trouble, and enjoy visits with family now and again.
Saving Sidwell, a terrible criminal in his own right, was not on Curtis’s 2026 Bingo card, but here we are.
So what exactly motivates Curtis enough to insert himself in this situation?
Will he want to get beat up too, with hopes he’ll get sent to the hospital, which may mean more one-on-one time with one of his children?
Could Curtis act on instinct? Will he possibly tell the prison guard about what’s happening, and get instructions from them to head on in as a trap?
Simply ‘saving’ Sidwell from harm seems the least likely reason as to why Curtis would want to go anywhere near this drama.
General Hospital spoilers note that whatever the case, it sounds like this decision will cause Curtis to fight for his life; however, could this end up resulting in a lessened sentence or jail stint for the man?
