Multiple Port Charles residents will struggle to contain their feelings when exes and other romantic interlopers make waves.
At least three jealous summer shockers are on the way, so major drama is brewing.
Some big couples could be at risk as a result, so here’s what GH fans can expect in the coming weeks.
1) Carly uneasy over Valentin and Anna’s reconnection
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just had a magical reunion with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) following his release from WSB custody, but how will she feel once Valentin reunites with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) next?
Carly has already had moments of jealousy when it comes to Valentin and Anna’s lingering bond, but those feelings could get even stronger once Anna is back in Valentin’s orbit.
Valentin knows Anna better than most and may be the one person who can pick up on the fact that she’s hiding something.
Perhaps Valentin will eventually pry a confession out of Anna regarding her Peter August (Wes Ramsey) hallucinations.
Whatever the case, there’ll be good reasons for Valentin to be drawn to Anna and stay close to her out of concern, so Carly’s jealousy could easily flare.
2) Ric fumes over Dante and Liz getting too close
Next, let’s talk about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) since he’ll take a break from all the chaos he’s been dealing with and focus on Port Charles’ summer softball league.
As Dante has some fun for a change, that’ll bring some relaxing opportunities to hang out with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and grow even closer to her.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will definitely be jealous once he realizes Dante could be stealing Liz’s heart.
This could lead to Ric going off the rails since jealousy has indeed driven him over the edge in the past.
If Ric reverts to bad behavior, he could be his own worst enemy and blow up his relationship with Elizabeth in the process.
3) Jacinda can’t handle Willow and Michael’s permanent link
This situation is a little different since Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) won’t be jealous over Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) romantic connection to Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
This will be more about Jacinda’s jealousy over Willow having a permanent place in Michael’s life through their children and annoyance over her always stirring up trouble.
In other words, Jacinda will be frustrated over Michael constantly having to devote time to Willow and her messes.
That frustration will drive Jacinda to make some bold moves against Willow, but could those moves put her romantic future with Michael in jeopardy?
Although Michael will keep working on Willow’s long-game takedown, that won’t be good enough for Jacinda.
Since Jacinda will hope to speed things along, that could lead to some unpleasant surprises all around.
