General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have a lot to mull over following their trip to Manhattan.
Thanks to Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield), Alexis and Ava uncovered a crucial piece of the puzzle when it comes to Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) past.
In the May 29 episode, Ava and Alexis were clearly thrown over Delilah’s link to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean), which was apparent in the pic Apollo showed them.
Alexis and Ava are both smart women, so they have to be wondering whether Ethan could be the father of Delilah’s baby.
That’s something many fans are wondering too since there have been plenty of clues to suggest Ethan is the bio dad.
However, the show’s stopped short of truly confirming Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) paternity just yet.
It’s possible the writers have a twist in mind, but it’s also possible they wanted to save it for a big moment where Ethan confesses that he’s the baby daddy.
Regardless, Alexis and Ava may have two very different approaches to dealing with this once they return to PC.
On June 4, someone will warn Ethan. It could be Alexis who admits the whole photo situation at the gallery and lets Ethan know what’s at stake.
Alexis may deliver a warning and argue that if Phoebe is Ethan’s baby, he needs to decide right now if he can live with not raising her.
Since Alexis is helping with the adoption, she may worry that Ethan could change his mind and break Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) heart along with Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard).
However, Ethan might assure Alexis that he knows what he’s doing and that he has no intention of standing in the way of this adoption.
That could be why GH spoilers say Alexis will pass along some good news later.
Alexis may conceal Ethan’s Delilah connection when she perhaps tells Brook Lynn and Chase that no family members have been found for Phoebe.
Next, Ava will tackle things her way when she corners Ethan on June 5.
There’s already been some tension between them since Ethan manhandled Ava during that misunderstanding between Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Now Ava may feel like she’s got the upper hand.
Ava may confront Ethan over being Phoebe’s father and push him to admit it to her.
This could lead to some blackmail drama if Ava dishes out a threat.
Ava might warn Ethan not to cross her again or else she could spill the connection he obviously wants to keep under wraps.
Perhaps Ava will also tell Ethan that if she needs a favor, she’ll expect him to come through for her from now on.
