General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that another custody battle could be brewing on the ABC soap. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) hostility is spiraling out of control, so there’s no way they’ll be able to successfully co-parent unless something changes.
Since Curtis continues to harass Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and has even been threatening to assault him again, Portia is understandably fed up.
In fact, Portia went as far as suggesting that maybe it was a gift to leave Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in the dark on her true paternity and not let Curtis raise her.
That was previously a source of deep regret for Portia, but she’s starting to think she was right to keep Curtis out of the loop on his biological daughter all those years.
Of course, Portia can’t do that with kid number two since Curtis is already aware that she’s carrying his child.
Curtis is becoming way too controlling and the baby’s not even born yet!
Portia made a huge decision in GH’s June 10 episode when she essentially cut off all contact with Curtis.
From now on, Curtis will have to talk to Portia’s doctors if he wants to get information related to the baby.
Other than that, Portia sees no reason to interact with Curtis anymore.
The lines have communication have totally shut down, so things could go from bad to worse for Curtis.
It’s clear that Curtis has pushed Portia too far, so how might this affect their custody situation?
Curtis is counting on either striking a plea deal or wiggling out of prison time if his case goes to trial.
However, that doesn’t mean Curtis will be free to help raise this baby like he wants.
Even if Curtis can avoid landing at Pentonville, Portia may take steps to keep him out of the picture.
Portia could go after full custody and potentially have a chance at winning considering Curtis’ out-of-control behavior lately.
Curtis is going to get even angrier if Portia tries to force him out of the picture, especially since Isaiah is so eager to handle daddy duties himself.
Regardless, Portia could go after full custody and cause another round of drama, so stay tuned for any big news that might infuriate Curtis.
