General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a recent debut has left fans with questions.
Now that Troy Lennon Appel has come on the scene as a shady businessman named Hudson Parker, many viewers are wondering about his potential connection to Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) was certainly spooked enough to bolt from Port Charles after he saw Hudson at the Metro Court pool.
Since Ethan realized he’d been tracked to PC, he felt the need to leave town ASAP and get Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) to spread the word.
Lulu indeed told Hudson that Ethan had left the country and couldn’t offer an address of where he was headed next.
Hudson was obviously frustrated over that news, but what’s the real story here?
We know that Ethan was previously tangled up in a job that went wrong, so Hudson may want revenge over that.
Since Ethan isn’t Phoebe’s true father, that also leaves the door open for Hudson to be revealed as the bio dad instead.
That said, Ethan was a red herring, so there’s also a chance Hudson will turn out to be one as well.
Since so many fans are already suspecting that Hudson is Phoebe’s real daddy, it could be the show’s way of setting up another shocker.
Hudson told the pool attendant that it was his first time at the Metro Court, so it seems like he’s truly new to Port Charles.
That could be important when we consider the fact that the DNA sample Ethan used for the paternity test came out of a PCPD cold case box.
In other words, the father seemed to have a tie to Port Charles and some crime committed there in the past. If that’s true, maybe Hudson isn’t the dad after all.
Hudson could just as easily be employed by the man who’ll turn out to be Phoebe’s father.
Perhaps Hudson is just another way to distract fans a bit before ultimately revealing some bigger villain with a connection to GH history.
Ethan was pretty rattled over Hudson’s arrival and hinted to Lulu that leaving now was about keeping a promise.
Since Ethan vowed to keep Phoebe safe, he no doubt worried Hudson would put the Phoebe puzzle pieces together if he stayed.
Of course, Hudson could still do that in Ethan’s absence whether he’s the bio dad or not!
If Hudson figures out Phoebe is Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) biological child, he could have a startling realization.
Whether that involves Hudson being the daddy or perhaps having a boss who’s the father instead, General Hospital spoilers say more Phoebe shockers are ahead.
