General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will move past Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), post-WSB imprisonment, to a new romance in the weeks and months ahead.
With that said, which leading lady will win the henchman’s heart?
There’s very little chance that Jason will reunite with Britt once he returns from his father-son getaway with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
After all, Jason may blame Britt for getting hauled away by the WSB in the first place.
Not that it was Britt’s fault, really, as Jason took the fall for Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting to protect Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
With that said, Britt was so insistent that Jason place her first in his life that he got caught up in her drama, which landed him in a ‘wrong place/wrong time’ situation.
Jason took a ton of risks to help ‘save’ Britt, and he may resent her for the time away from Danny.
Plus, his release was because of Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) deal with the WSB, so had it not been for his goddaughter, he’d still be in that WSB prison.
Still, Jason is a tricky character to partner anyone up with.
There aren’t many leading women on the canvas right now that can match nicely with “Stone Cold.”
Fans may recall the epic failure and the backlash that General Hospital writers faced when he was paired up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
The two were placed in each other’s orbits when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was first introduced, and many viewers got the ‘ick’ when Jason kissed Anna in a cell while they were both being held captive.
After all, Jason dated her daughter and had a ‘love-of-a-lifetime’ romance with Robyn Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough).
With that said, there’s always Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), right? The two were once a thing and share a son in Jake Webber (Hudson West).
Many GH viewers feel as if the two have never been given a real chance at a romance, and there are so many more stories that could be told.
However, Liz seems to be locked in a relationship with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is waiting in the wings, so her dance card is kind of full at the moment.
What about Serena Baldwin?
The character is slated to return to Port Charles and has The Young and the Restless Alum, Kelly Kruger, recast in the role.
There’s nothing like a fresh face on canvas, with new opportunities to spark speculation!
Serena will present all the qualities of all her parents.
It sounds like she’ll be sly like her dad, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), with the feistiness from her surrogate mom, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
Plus, Serena may also have a tender heart like her biological mother, Dominque Baldwin (Shell Danielson).
As such, fans may see some chemistry develop between Jason and Serena if they find they keep running into each other.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that there’s always the chance that Jason stays single for now, as he is focusing all his energies on Danny, but what fun would that be for GH fans, right?
