In GH’s October 22 episode, Jordan found out she was approved for the treatment in Baden-Baden.
When Michael questioned what took so long for the decision to be made, Jordan explained that the clinic had to cover their bases.
Since this treatment is experimental, Jordan said they had to make sure her one remaining kidney could withstand the risks and potential complications.
The word “complications” immediately got Michael’s attention and left him concerned.

Michael could grow closer to sick Jordan as he sits by her bedside and hopes for her recovery.
This could also set up some conflict with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who may blame Michael for arranging this treatment and putting Jordan’s life on the line.
Bottom line, the show’s established this risk of complications, so terrible news could be coming up.
Jordan’s kidney issues might take center stage and leave Michael in panic mode soon enough.
