General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 20-24 suggest that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) might crack Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) SOS Morse code, so will she risk everything to help her former flame?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Liz will go to visit Drew on Thursday, April 23.
Added teasers imply that he will be blinking furiously, and Liz, this will have the good nurse raising an eyebrow.
As Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has been very busy with her Congress duties, there’s a good chance that Liz drops to see her but is then left alone with Drew.
Drew has been trying to send a message to anyone who will notice via his blinking, which is the only way he can communicate.
If Liz is given the chance to truly talk to him, she may be able to decipher that something is wrong.
With that said, even if she’s interrupted, Liz won’t be able to shake Drew’s demeanor.
Drew’s blinking might be something that Liz can’t get off her mind, even if Willow – or Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) attempts to fluff the entire thing off.
Liz once dated Drew when he first came to town and thought he was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
As much as Liz isn’t a fan of how much Drew has changed, she’s also a character with a very kind heart and won’t be able to shake the idea that he needs help.
Due to their past, she may also remember that Drew was an expert in Morse code due to his Navy Seal training.
She may realize that as Drew blinks once for ‘yes’, and twice for ‘no’, then his rapid eye-blinking is not something weird or odd; it’s a message of sorts.
After all, Liz is a nurse herself. There’s no way the doctor or medical professional would advise Drew’s loved ones that he could blink to communicate if he couldn’t.
In addition, they would investigate the reason for the rapid blinking, right?
All this reasoning could make Liz very suspicious, and when the nurse has questions, she’s always brave enough to go the extra mile to get them answered!
Could Elizabeth hold the key to Drew’s rescue? Still, will she approach Nina or Willow with what she’s speculating?
Then again, there’s always the chance that, while in the home during that very visit, Elizabeth overhears something that makes her realize that Nina and Willow are up to no good.
During the weekly preview, Nina is shown hovering over Drew as she states, “Blink all you want, Drew, no one is going to save you!”
All it would take would be Liz in another room, listening, and she’d know that Drew needed help and to remain hush-hush about the entire thing to Willow and Nina.
General Hospital spoilers hint that little ol’ nurse Liz might be the force that ends up bringing big bad Willow down by helping Drew, so it’ll be interesting to see how this storyline unravels.
