General Hospital (GH) spoilers for next two weeks, July 13 to July 24, reveal that the excitement is about to heat up on the ABC soap.
Some important storylines will bring twists and turns, so here’s what viewers can expect.
During the week of July 13-17, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be granted his freedom and head back to Port Charles.
It’ll be part of the show’s 16,000th episode, which will also feature the first appearance of a sizzling new surgeon named Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer).
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a tense encounter with Tristan that sets them up to be enemies – at least at first.
Of course, that could change depending on what romantic plans the writers might have in mind for these two.
Meanwhile, it looks like Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may score herself a GH board seat and enrage Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in the process.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll deal with some suspicions.
Could Valentin ultimately sense that something odd is going on with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who’s concealing the fact that she’s hallucinating Peter August (Wes Ramsey)?
Across town, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will realize Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is becoming mobile again, so he may fear Willow could try to wipe Drew off the map to silence him.
As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), they’ll do some strategizing.
Nina will eventually make Brennan her confidant, so they’ll grow closer and keep inching toward a romance.
Next, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will stop by Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house.
Since we know an emotional confrontation will send Portia into labor soon, could Jordan’s visit play a role in that?
If so, Jordan might have to help deliver the baby or at least get Portia to the hospital ASAP.
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will both get some musical offers following their joint showcase performance.
Elsewhere, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may be the one to tell James West (Gary James Fuller) that Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is deceased.
James may find out that “Nathan” was actually his uncle and that Cassius was tangled up in some bad things.
It could lead to James lashing out and maybe even being in a bit of denial about the whole situation.
Cassius is secretly still alive, but James will have to mourn him anyway.
As for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she’ll push Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to back off and let her run her own love life.
Sonny won’t listen, so it looks like he’ll ask Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for help sabotaging Carly and Valentin’s romance during the week of July 20-24.
Jason will also have a chance to catch up with plenty of familiar faces and will ultimately reveal a huge decision.
Since Jason’s time in captivity changed him, he may choose to focus on his family and get out of the mob.
That said, Jason will have concerns about the trust Sonny has placed in Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
Sonny will understand why, but he’ll defend Ric and suggest Jason will have to get along with him.
Back with Anna, her Peter visions will keep pushing her down a vengeful path of pain and destruction.
Kayden Brenna Tokarski will also make her debut as an aged-up Scout Quartermaine while Kelly Kruger takes over the role of Serena Baldwin, so look for these two new cast members to pop up this July.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) will face some drama related to his role in shooting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), so don’t miss any shocking news ahead.
