General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a scandal could be brewing that’ll lead to some big romantic changes.
One previously solid couple may crumble and pave the way for some new love life options.
First, we should point out that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has plenty more drama ahead of her.
Laura was finally able to escape Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) blackmail threat, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out.
Laura has both professional and personal drama in her future, so she’ll be juggling a lot in the coming months.
Since Laura will have multiple fires to put out, she’ll end up stressed and in need of a break.
That’s when Laura will decide to take a little vacation and meet up with two of her favorite people in the world.
Of course, we’re talking about Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry).
Since Kevin and Ace are still in Ireland, Laura will book a flight there and hope to enjoy a little breather.
It’ll leave Laura anticipating some family bonding time and some relaxation away from Port Charles.
However, GH summer preview spoilers indicate that Laura’s trip could lead to major issues in her marriage and even worse problems for PC.
There’s no confirmation on what that means exactly, but we can certainly speculate.
What if Laura decides to surprise Kevin and another woman answers the door? Perhaps Kevin has been cheating with some Irish beauty behind Laura’s back.
It’s easy to imagine lonely Kevin growing closer to someone else who teaches in Dublin.
Maybe Kevin has been having an affair – one that could cause him to decide to stay in Ireland and send Laura home with Ace.
That would fit with the marriage issues ahead for Laura and could set up problems for Port Charles, too.
Maybe Kevin’s affair could leak and turn into a big scandal for Mayor Collins to contend with.
It could also lead to Laura moving on romantically sooner or later – whether it be with Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) or someone else.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Laura will face some bad news and unexpected obstacles thanks to the Ireland trip that’s on the horizon, so don’t miss all the twists and turns.
