General Hospital (GH) spoilers confirm that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) headed out of town this past week, so fans are wondering when they’ll be back in Port Charles.
The good news is that it’s sooner than expected, and CDL has all the details.
First off, after months of being held captive by the WSB in Jakarta, Indonesia, Jason made an explosive comeback to Port Charles.
In an interesting twist, he was accompanied by Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), who also happens to be the new surgeon at the hospital.
It’s hard to say if Tristan is a WSB agent and a doctor – one or both, or how he was ordered with the task to bring Jason home to PC, so only time will tell with that storyline.
Regardless of that, during the plane ride home, Jason had flashbacks of his time in the WSB prison.
He was tortured and beaten, and GH viewers could tell that the poor man had been traumatized during his time away from home.
The moment he set foot in Port Charles, he headed straight to see his son, Danny.
General Hospital spoilers confirm that Jason will be a changed man upon his comeback, and it looks like nothing – no job, woman, or other relationship – will come between him and his son ever again.
Danny and Jason had a nice heart-to-heart at the Quartermaine boathouse.
While Danny was upset that he took the fall for Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting, covering for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), Jason explained that he couldn’t allow Danny’s brother’s life to be ruined.
Jason would’ve wanted someone else to do the same if Danny were placed in that position.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) swung by the Q boathouse to welcome Jason home.
This is when Jason asked his aunt for a favor. Jason wanted to take Danny on a mini getaway somewhere, just the two of them.
Jason instructed Tracy to tell the others, specifically Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), that he and Danny were leaving town for a few days and would be back soon.
It was somewhat disappointing for some GH fans to see Jason back only for him to dip out again, but considering the circumstances, it made sense for the man to have one-on-one time with Danny.
