General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will ghost Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when he returns to town.
Will this be out of pure resentment for his WSB imprisonment?
Had Jason not been on the pier trying to save Britt for the umpteenth time, he may not have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Jason clearly doesn’t resent Rocco Falconerni (Finn Carr), nor does he regret taking the fall for the young teen, where Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting is concerned.
Still, he may hate the predicament he was placed in and how Britt was linked to that.
One major point of contention Britt had when she first returned to Port Charles, where a reunion with Jason was concerned, was that he never prioritized her.
She felt that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) always came before her, so much so that Jason worked overtime to prove his devotion to her.
He was even willing to leave Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) behind so that he could protect Britt.
Initially, when Britt and Jason were going to skip town, he believed that it was only for a few months, and he’d be back.
With that said, being hauled away by the WSB brought a scary reality that even when Jason plans things to a ‘t’, they could always go awry.
Jason may want to leave a life of danger behind for good, and he’s already stated that Danny will be his top, and seemingly only, priority moving forward.
Jason got in way too deep with Britt’s drama, and in wanting to “save” her, he got lost on the path of what’s really important: his son.
Danny doesn’t have a mother, as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is gone, and Jason is his only living parent.
It was more than reckless for Jason to decide to go on the run with Britt, and his WSB imprisonment might be a wake-up call to this.
Jason returned to Port Charles from Jakarta and went straight to see Danny.
The two immediately left town for a father-son getaway without Jason notifying anyone, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who happened to be in the vicinity.
This was a true testament to Jason’s renewed commitment to Danny. Still, Danny and Jason are set to come back during the Friday, July 24 show.
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 27-31 suggest that Jason will make his rounds in Port Charles and reunite with friends and family.
Still, will he ghost Britt in the process?
Jason may just want to avoid Britt in general, as he believes getting involved with her on any level will only drag him down when he needs to focus on Danny.
