General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will remain determined to bring Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) down for good and keep his loved ones safe.
It’s clear that Sonny is ready to pull out all the stops and make sure Sidwell meets a grim fate.
However, Sonny will find time for a little romantic sabotage in the midst of all this according to summer preview spoilers.
There’s room for more than one scheme in Sonny’s life, so he’ll ultimately kick off a new plot to keep two lovers apart.
GH fans know Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) spent months hiding out under Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) roof.
What started out as a tense alliance bloomed into something beautiful that Carly and Valentin never could’ve imagined.
That’s why it was so heartbreaking for Valentin and Carly when they were forced to bid farewell.
Valentin ultimately took off for Geneva, where he intends to meet with Z and alert him to double agent Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) criminal chaos.
Since Valentin is taking his story to the leader of the WSB in person, he knows there’s a good possibility he’ll land back at Steinmauer once he’s done spilling everything.
Carly and Valentin have already said their goodbyes while fearing they might never see each other again.
Fortunately, summer preview spoilers indicate that Valentin will eventually be able to return to Port Charles.
Valentin will manage to avoid the prison fate he feared and will have a chance to resume his romance with Carly.
Of course, that’s going to be complicated since Carly and Valentin were previously sizzling behind closed doors.
It’s one thing for Valentin and Carly to hit the sheets in private; it’s quite another for them to take their relationship public.
Even if Carly and Valentin don’t exactly flaunt their romance, Sonny is definitely going to find out about it.
In fact, GH spoilers say Sonny will recruit Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) help when it comes to sabotaging Valentin and Carly’s future together.
Sonny won’t approve of Carly and Valentin’s relationship at all, so he’ll come up with a plan to ruin their romantic reunion this summer – and loyal Brick will play a big role in it.
