General Hospital Tuesday, March 17 Recap: Josslyn Demands Sonny Leave The Country – Carly & Valentin Break Up

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, March 17, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) decided not to complicate their alliance with bedroom benefits.

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) also caused quite a scene at Brown Dog Bar, so here’s how Tuesday’s GH episode played out.

At GH, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) informed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) pregnancy test was negative and pushed her to deal with her lingering resentment of Jordan, especially since it could look like Portia was stuck on Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

After a conversation with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) about going after happiness, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) headed to the Port Charles Grill for her date with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).

Ric wrapped up his latest attempt to convince Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he was a changed man and sat down with Liz.

Although Elizabeth didn’t approve of Ric joining Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) legal team, this was something he had to do.

Ric had missed out on too much with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), Sonny and Elizabeth, so he wanted to plant himself firmly in Port Charles again.

Back with Portia, she gave Isaiah the news that Jordan wasn’t pregnant and made it clear that she had no unresolved feelings for Curtis.

Next, Jordan made it home to Curtis and admitted she wasn’t pregnant, so he was stunned to learn about the close call.

Curtis found out Stella had meddled, but Jordan didn’t mind since it helped to talk things out and made her feel like part of the family again.

Jordan also mentioned Portia finding out about her pregnancy scare, but she was adamant about Curtis maintaining a solid co-parenting relationship with his ex.

Curtis was impressed over Jordan’s outlook and liked the honest communication they now had in their romance.

At home, Sonny surprised Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) by taking her off a certain case and confessed that he’d hired another lawyer to handle it.

Diane wondered if she was being fired, but Sonny insisted he brought someone on board to handle more complicated deals.

Diane was clearly bothered and quizzed Sonny, who insisted he didn’t want to put her in tight spots anymore.

Sonny admitted he hired Ric, so Diane obviously didn’t think that was a good idea.

As Diane vented to Alexis later, she planned to charge Sonny even more once he came crawling back to her after Ric botched this arrangement.

At Brown Dog Bar, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) joined Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Emma and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) at their table, but the fun didn’t last long.

That’s because Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) grabbed a table of their own nearby.

Josslyn spotted the two of them together and made an excuse to leave, so Trina offered to walk her bestie out.

Cullum bumped into Josslyn while he was getting drinks, so she put on her ditzy college girl act again.

Trina questioned Josslyn, who suggested Cullum was some creepy guy she kept running into.

Although Trina worried that was the real reason for Josslyn’s quick getaway, Joss suggested seeing Brennan reminded her of the massive fight she recently had with Carly.

Trina gave Josslyn a nudge to patch things up with Carly sooner rather than later.

After Brennan walked over to ask Emma for the latest info on Anna, she insisted it was none of his business.

Emma eventually caused a big scene in front of Cullum that involved blaming the WSB for Anna’s issues and pushing Brennan to stay away from her grandma.

Brennan wound up quizzing Cullum for further details on Anna’s mental break, but Cullum just repeated the fake story and suspected she’d never come back from this ordeal.

At Carly’s house, Valentin questioned her about their time in bed together and whether that was the beginning of something or the end of everything.

Carly didn’t think they needed to distract themselves with blurred lines, so Valentin understood and hinted about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) trusting him to help her.

That said, Valentin wouldn’t live to tell the tale if Carly got hurt according to Jason.

After Valentin and Carly established that they didn’t regret their night together, he headed back up to the attic and left Carly looking overwhelmed.

Once Valentin was hidden away again, Sonny popped over to discuss Jason’s departure with Carly.

That led to Carly admitting she had a huge fight with Josslyn and that it was about Sonny.

Josslyn wound up interrupting and rejected Sonny’s offer to work things out.

Instead, Josslyn wanted Sonny to do right by his surviving children and leave the country.

After Josslyn exploded over Carly’s continued defense of Sonny, he pushed her to treat her mom with respect under her roof.

Josslyn didn’t respect Carly’s decisions and clarified that she wasn’t just talking about her mom’s history.

“I’m not talking about the past! I’m talking about the choices that you’re making right now,” Josslyn declared before stomping out the door.

General Hospital spoilers say the tension between Josslyn and Carly may get worse before it gets better, so stay tuned!
