General Hospital Tuesday, May 26 Recap: Kristina Exits for Medical School – Rocco’s Video Message

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, May 26, reveals that Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) departure strategy came into play while Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) emailed Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) with an attempt to explain.

At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) couldn’t bring himself to look at Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) autopsy report when it arrived.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) advised against looking since it wouldn’t bring Marco back and speculated about Marco having another love interest – perhaps one whose feelings were unrequited.

Ava suggested it could’ve been an ex from Miami or even someone right there in Port Charles.

When Sidwell suggested Lucas might’ve been the killer, Ava shut down the idea since her nephew wasn’t capable of doing that – especially to someone he loved as much as Marco.

That said, Ava knew that jealousy could make you do wild things, so she continued to wonder about someone else being behind the apparent crime of passion.

Pascal (Marc Forget) popped up with refreshments, but Ava had to take off.

Sidwell told Pascal to put the autopsy report in the safe and wound up ruminating on Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) pointing the finger at Lucas.

Since Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) hadn’t been respecting boundaries, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with Kristina and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) about her struggles dealing with him.

Alexis briefly considered boarding school before deciding against it since Danny would hate her and probably just escape.

Molly and Kristina were willing to be there for Danny since Alexis thought he might be more receptive to his “hipper” aunts than his grandma.

Outside Bobbie’s later, Kristina received a message and shocked Molly with some big news.

Kristina admitted she took a chance by applying to medical school and just got accepted, so her exit strategy is already underway.

Back with Alexis, she convinced Ava to go with her to Manhattan to continue her Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) investigation.

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, Danny and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) promised they weren’t keeping secrets for Rocco and knew nothing.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was busy delegating tasks at the PCPD, where Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) looked into the phones that were found while Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) headed to Bobbie’s with a warrant to search Britt’s place.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was there pleading with Lucas to leave Wyndemere while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) sat nearby acting downright gleeful over “Nathan’s” breakup from Lulu.

Once Joe arrived with the warrant, he urged “Nathan” and Liesl to get down to the station.

As for Lucas, his defense of Britt caught Carly off guard and left her with questions about his change in attitude toward her.

Lucas eventually talked about Marco getting killed proving himself and trying to do something good.

Carly was concerned over Lucas wanting to finish what Marco started and hinted about having resources to protect Lucas if he ended up in danger.

Lulu also got summoned to the PCPD and learned from Dante that Rocco took off with Britt.

Dante spread the word about Britt leaving Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) locked up at GH and lied to Chase about the passport being one Britt got for Rocco.

Once they arrived, “Nathan” and Obrecht insisted they didn’t know what Britt was up to, but Liesl suggested she wouldn’t blab even if she was in the loop.

Obrecht wound up acting like Britt was Rocco’s mother despite the lack of biological ties between them and felt that Lulu pushed them even closer.

“Nathan” spoke with Liesl privately in the interrogation room and left her suspicious since he was so adamant Britt would die from Huntington’s disease if they didn’t find her.

Obrecht could tell that her children had been leaving her in the dark on a lot.

In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, he told Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about Britt’s phone call and how Pascal helped cover for Sidwell after he killed Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard).

Sonny wanted to get Pascal to turn on Sidwell and hand over the blackmail material that Sidwell had been holding over him.

There was some talk about Laura getting Lucas’ help to get them close to Pascal.

Lulu ultimately called Laura about Britt and Rocco being on the run together, so she shared that info with Sonny.

Charlotte also found an email from Rocco in her school account, so she headed to the police station with Danny.

That gave Lulu and Dante a chance to watch Rocco’s video message as well.

In that message, Rocco promised he was fine and that he was the one who convinced Britt to take him, so he asked Dante and Lulu not to hate Britt or look for him.

Rocco insisted Britt hadn’t forced him and added that “not all who wander are lost.”

Lulu recognized that as a code phrase she’d given Rocco, so she knew he was safe and that he genuinely wanted to be with Britt.

General Hospital spoilers say Lulu and Dante will have more chaos to contend with, so stay tuned.
