General Hospital (GH) update for Wednesday, July 1, indicate that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will come through for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) in a big way.
“Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) will also land in a tight spot while ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) panics over getting abducted.
At the gallery, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will continue calling the shots since he’s the one holding the weapon.
Ava Jerome (Maura West), Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and Justine will have to do whatever Sidwell says to stay alive.
However, it’s Justine who’ll land in the most danger since Sidwell will decide to make her part of his Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) setup.
Sidwell will kidnap Justine and use her to lure Sonny into the confrontation he’s been waiting for.
After Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) doubles down on staying at Sonny’s place, Sonny will find out Justine is in trouble.
You can bet Sonny will want to keep Gio as far away from the danger as possible.
Sonny will indeed step up for Justine as Sidwell expected, so multiple lives will be on the line as the drama heats up.
Ava will explode over all the havoc Sidwell keeps wreaking and may get some surprising comfort from Ethan soon enough.
At Turning Woods, Nina will take a closer look at Brennan now that she’s found him in bad shape following Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) deadly plan.
Although Brennan won’t be breathing at first, Nina will ultimately save him from an early grave.
Next, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will get some news that leaves him reeling.
That could be about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) if he learns she dashed off to Wyndemere without him.
There’s also a chance Lucas will find out about Nathan not being the real deal since that shocker will start spreading on Wednesday’s GH episode as well.
Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) knows Nathan is actually dirty Cassius, so he’ll put out an APB on “Detective Nathan West” in hopes of stopping him from fleeing Port Charles.
Cassius is already trying to make a break for it with James West (Gary James Fuller), but it appears Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will successfully intervene and stop the kidnapping that’s in progress.
It sounds like “Nathan” will have to say a hasty farewell to James instead of starting a new life with him somewhere.
At Wyndemere, Carly will listen in on a conversation and learn something that stuns her.
That could be about Cassius posing as Nathan and being the person to blame for Josslyn first getting thrown in captivity.
Of course, Josslyn is hoping that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) can unseal that electronic door lock and get them out of the jam they’re stuck in, but there’ll be some tricky moments as Joss frets over her cutting the right wire.
Upstairs, Carly will get busted. Cullum will actually be glad to see Carly since he was planning on taking her hostage anyway, but she may inform him that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is already working on Cullum’s takedown in Geneva.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will unleash her wrath on Cullum and demand Josslyn back, but Cullum isn’t going to make this easy!
