General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 7, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will face an awful realization while Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) best hope takes center stage. Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will also provide some mystery help, so there’ll be a lot happening in Wednesday’s GH episode.
At the police station, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will hand off some duties since he perhaps won’t trust himself on anything pertaining to this case anymore.
Dante feels like maybe he went too easy on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and didn’t ask the necessary questions, so he’ll continue to blame himself for that.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will end up seeking updates from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), so they may figure out Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was bluffing about the footage of Michael outside Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house.
As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), she’ll have some shocking news for Michael as well.
Kristina may divulge some of the things she learned from Alexis’ file and admit she tried to send Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) out of town with a bag of money.
Michael will acknowledge that the lies have piled up and fret over how all this will affect his children.
Although Michael will worry about losing Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), Kristina may offer a pep talk.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, an awful realization is headed Tracy’s way.
Tracy might admit there’s a possibility Michael is actually guilty, but the truly awful part may come if she realizes who blabbed to Alexis.
There’s a good chance Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) was the person who overheard and sent that anonymous letter to Alexis.
Tracy may put some puzzle pieces together and point the finger at him soon.
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will discuss what to do now that they believe they heard Michael’s ringtone for Wiley inside Drew’s house.
Trina may point out that they can’t prove anything and don’t need to blab to the cops about their involvement.
Although Trina will just want to stay out of this, Kai may fear Willow will go to prison for something she didn’t do.
Gio could become a key player on Wednesday’s episode since Trina and Kai will ask him for assistance.
Kai and Trina will keep things vague, but Gio will push for more details if they expect him to come through.
Trina and Kai may not divulge all that much in the end, but they might admit this could affect Willow’s trial.
If Gio recalls what ringtone Michael uses for Wiley, he could really help Kai and Trina out. Gio might be able to confirm that it isn’t Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
Based on what Gio’s heard at the Quartermaine estate, he may know for a fact that Wiley’s ringtone ties in with some movie or game he loves instead.
As for Trina and Kai, they’ll continue trying to crack the shooter case.
Kai and Trina will make another discovery later in the week that points in a new direction, so will they realize Willow has the same Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star ringtone for Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) that Drew has?
Speaking of Drew, he’ll push for some certainty on why Alexis wants him to testify.
Alexis may insist that as Willow’s husband and the victim, he may be the best person to convince the jury that she’s innocent.
Back with Dante, he’ll use Lulu as someone to lean on. Lulu and Dante will always have a connection, so she’ll step up and provide some comfort following all the Michael-related chaos.
Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will experience some relief on Wednesday’s show.
Perhaps once Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) are officially on a plane to Dublin, Laura may feel better knowing they’re out of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) grasp.
