General Hospital (GH) update for the week of August 24-28 indicates that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will need some fatherly guidance.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will also start going off the rails again, but he won’t be the only one spiraling out of control.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also unleash her anger, so there’ll be a lot to look forward to.
At the Metro Court pool, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will seem nervous as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) delivers a proposal to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Valentin will make it clear that Carly had nothing to do with this idea, but Carly may still try to help Valentin build some trust with Jason.
Will Jason be willing to work with Valentin or pass on whatever proposition he makes?
This might have something to do with Valentin’s efforts to gain the upper hand in the auction for Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) assets that’s coming up.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has big plans to bid in that auction too, so Jason may opt to stay out of all this.
Of course, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is hoping to defeat both Sonny and Valentin when it comes to scoring the most valuable assets.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) has agreed to partner with Drew, so her upcoming trap could be part of that scheme.
At some point in the week ahead, Drew will also promise that payback is brewing.
Danny Morgan (Asher Antoynzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) are working on a blackmail plot, but it could backfire soon and leave them facing Drew’s revenge.
Since Drew and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have some conflict on the way, Danny may stir up more trouble and need his grandma’s help with the mess.
Speaking of messes, Ric will feel like his relationship with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is falling apart before his eyes.
After spotting another close moment between Liz and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Ric will fear the worst.
Ric will feel like he’s losing Elizabeth to Dante, but he could be his own worst enemy.
Since Ric’s jealousy and possessiveness have been issues in the past, those problems could be what cost him Liz in the end.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will pass along some romantic advice, but Ric may not listen if he’s on the receiving end.
Ric would rather scheme with Lulu to keep Dante and Elizabeth away from each other, but she may continue to fight him on that.
Next, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) will confide in someone about his history.
GH fans will learn a little more about Tristan’s past and hopefully get to know him a bit better.
Across town, Nina will get some news that leaves her furious.
Will Nina’s anger be the result of a fight that’s about to break out between Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Willow Cain (Cameron Mathison) or could Michael make another manipulative move that affects her daughter?
Regardless, Michael will send out an SOS to Sonny since he’ll need some words of wisdom.
Whether Michael wants advice regarding Drew, Willow or both, Sonny will offer his opinion.
