General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) has shared his thoughts on his character’s future.
Although GH writers have chosen to send Spinelli off to Australia with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and the kids, it’s clear that Anderson would love to have more airtime in Port Charles.
Most fans know by now that Anderson does a podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) that involves chatting about various GH topics.
On a recent episode of That’s Awesome with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, the duo discussed how Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is racking up minutes on-screen without even being alive.
Peter is just in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) head at this point since she’s hallucinating him due to her mental health issues.
However, Anderson jokingly mentioned that he’d like to be in Jason’s visions or perhaps someone else’s if it’s a good path to screen time.
“Why can’t I be in your head, dude? Or somebody’s head. I just want to be on-screen! Put me in somebody’s head!” Anderson said.
Anderson also joked that if Spinelli died, maybe he’d work more!
Burton joined in the fun by suggesting that “Ghost Spinelli” could be everywhere haunting everybody.
Of course, Anderson and Burton were just kidding around about the dying part, but it’s easy to see that Anderson is frustrated over not getting as much airtime as he would like.
Spinelli enjoyed a summer trip with Maxie, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Bailey Louise Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski), but now James West (Gary James Fuller) is joining them for their official Australia move.
The writers just keep inventing new ways to keep Spinelli out of the picture, but Bradford Anderson would certainly like for his character to pop up more often.
Unfortunately, with Spinelli working all the way in Australia and settling in with his family there, his lack of airtime doesn’t seem likely to change anytime soon.
On the bright side, Spinelli can still come home to Port Charles if a storyline calls for his skills and he’s needed in person somewhere down the road.
