General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) could make a big comeback down the road.
Cassius’ exit was left open-ended since Z (John Oliver) faked his death and offered him a job in the WSB.
Although Ryan Paevey has made his last appearance for now, he could kick off a new stint at some point.
Once some time has passed, Paevey might reprise the role of Cassius and perhaps get a fresh start in Port Charles.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was willing to strike a deal with Z, which meant trashing Cassius and making him seem like he played a far bigger role in the cold fusion mess than he actually did.
In exchange for signing a statement against Cassius and pretending Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was a tragic hero, Josslyn scored news regarding Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) release.
However, Cassius actually had some moments of redemption there at the end and deserves better.
It’d be nice to see Cassius return and get a happier outcome, especially since his love for James West (Gary James Fuller) is clearly real.
James has been down in the dumps over “Nathan” leaving out of the blue and is now wondering if he’ll ever see his “dad” again.
It looks like some sad GH scenes are ahead once James learns Cassius is “dead” and that he was actually his uncle.
James will still mourn the loss, so it may be easy for him to forgive Cassius somewhere down the line.
If Cassis resurfaces, he could still step up and be a father figure to James, even if he’s not truly his bio dad.
Of course, Cassius will need another love interest if that happens, so what about a Maxie Jones (last played by Kirsten Storms) recast?
Maybe Maxie could be so moved by the special bond between Cassius and James that she finds herself drawn to Nathan’s twin brother.
Whatever the case, there may come a day when Cassius wiggles out of his current WSB jam and scores a new beginning in Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Cassius could still have a bright future on the show depending on whether Ryan Paevey’s willing to sign on for more drama.
