The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) update for Monday, September 7, tells us that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get backed into a difficult corner.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) will also be tested when it comes to Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and the freedom he wants to live his own life.
Although Katie would love nothing more than for Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) to go home with Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) and never come back, that’s not what Will has in mind.
Will has come to care about Dylan, especially since she’s stepped up to help him cope with losing Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).
Katie feels like Dylan is taking advantage of Will’s heartache, but he appreciates having someone to lean on.
Since Will’s feelings for Dylan are growing stronger, he just shut down her attempt to leave.
Katie hasn’t given her blessing to this romance, but that doesn’t mean Will’s willing to let his mom drive Dylan away.
Will is an adult who deserves to decide for himself who he dates, so he’ll apparently make that clear to Katie.
It looks like Will’s going to plead for Katie to give Dylan a real chance and stop jumping to so many conclusions about her.
Katie will relent and make it seem like she’s willing to stay open-minded, but she obviously isn’t going to accept Dylan anytime soon.
Dylan will remain a major source of concern for Katie, who’s quite protective of her “Willy Bear.”
Other B&B spoilers say John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) proposal will leave Steffy feeling nervous.
Since Finn will want to host dinner at the cliff house and invite Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) along with Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire), he’ll give Steffy a reason to worry!
Steffy certainly won’t like the thought of spending the evening with Carter and Daphne under the circumstances.
Since Steffy is hiding a sizzling encounter with Carter, she’ll know this double date night at home will bring an evening full of uncomfortable moments.
Nevertheless, Steffy will have to give her approval and perhaps act like she’s excited to have their friends over.
Once Daphne finds out about this invitation, she’ll share the news with Carter and play it up as something fun.
Of course, it’ll be anything but fun for Carter once he’s forced to put on a smile with Steffy and pretend they aren’t hiding something that could destroy both their marriages.
